Captain Archibald Haddock - a loud, aggressive, sometimes immature sea captain with a creative swearing problem.

"Billions of Blue Blistering Barnacles and Ten Thousand Thundering Typhoons". There is certainly colour in the language of Captain Haddock.

Not exactly the qualities a person would expect in one of Tintin's closest allies. But Haddock more than compensates for his bad habits.

The Weta statue of Haddock is a 1/6 scale polystone resin statue created from the actual digital model made by Weta Digital for the new movie The Adventures of Tintin, and was finished and prepared by the artists at Weta Workshop.

It is a limited edition piece capturing an iconic Haddock pose and makes an excellent start to any Tintin collection, as well as a superb complement for those who have collected Classic Tintin pieces over the years. Each piece will be individually numbered. The exact edition size is to be confirmed, but will be no more than 2,000.

Very nice, if I had the room I'd totally buy this one and any others they make. Sadly no room to put it lol.

Yeah, I hear you. At this point a sequel is a virtual certainty thanks to the impressive international box office, even if it isn't doing as well in the US just now, so hopefully next time round we may see a toy licensee sign on. If you're reading this and haven't seen it, go check it out. It's all kinds of good fun. :)

I have been tempted to pick up some of the smaller statue figures and dioramas, they're like an inch or two and possibly made out of ceramic.
