Looks cool. Bonus points for using the actual movie bat logo on the base. But 80 bucks?? Whatever, we'll see when the time comes.

Even though I vowed to stick with my Indy collection, I MUST have this-I have wanted some decent high-end Burton Batman product for so long.

Hopefully it means we will get a Nicholson Joker, and maybe some 12" figures...

Still miles better than the Dark Knight!

Ugh the headculpt is awful. Nice to see them attempting products from 89 though

Yeah, I agree. Not a great headsculpt at all but very cool to see some Batman '89 stuff. If I can find this for cheap enough I'd get it.

Not a terrible likeness. Its all in the chin. I pre-ordered it anyways. Would be sweet if they did a Nicholson Joker as a companion piece.

Would be even sweeter if Hot Toys made a figure of Keaton Batman also.

It's the eyes that throw it off for me.

Have you seen the statue?

The eyes still look off to me but to hell with it, I'm getting it anyway. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif Also gonna have to get that Christopher Reeve Superman statue. Or at least the bust.

The Keaton statue looks awesome, but yes the eyes are off. I think its because he doesn't have that much skin tone showing around the eyes. I think that can be corrected with a quick paint app. I'm getting the Keaton bust, on the fence about the statue.

^ I agree. There shouldn't be any skin tone showing around the eyes, since they had him wear black make-up around his eyes. Still, I like the bust, and I LOVE the statue.

Any word how much the statue will be?

Yeah, black paint would help the eyes but overall they seem too big. They're almost like fish eyes. Other than that both the bust and statue look great and I'll most likely get both.

The statue will retail for $195.

Which is about three times what it should cost. Why do you want both

You're right about the eyes. I'm hoping they improve before the actual release. In this picture he looks like he's looking in two opposite directions.

Whooofff...195 bucks...well, maybe we'll see what I need around Christmastime haha.

Yeah, definitely a bit steep but since Keaton Batman doesn't get much love when it comes to merchandise I'll take the plunge.

I hope they fix the skin around the eyes for the release of these. I wouldnt mind getting both. No where enought Burton/Keaton Batman items out there. Hope this leads to more. And like others have said, Hot Toys really needs to jump on the two Burton movie.

They eyes on these make him look like The Toxic Avenger in Batman gear.

The $195 retail price for the statue is steep. Its more of a $150 statue at the most. I'd get one if I can score it for around that price.
