I know this issue was addressed in the 1:1 Salacious Crumb thread.......I dont think there's a way to fix it but I could be wrong.

Actually I think you can use rubbing alcohol (but don't do that until you've confirmed it in the thread here or at the Sideshow Freaks forum, since my memory is a little fuzzy). I do know that Sideshow was actually advising people to try the alcohol method (if that is indeed what it was) and that it worked fairly well, but left the eyes dull looking. I guess you could then apply some gloss.

I went ahead and used the alochol technique. This worked well to clear the eye. However, upon removal of the white, I discovered that there is a big white mark/scratch on the eye. Any feedback on what I should do? Try to paint it? If so what kind of paint? Or should it be left be. heres some pics i snapped:

It's a little hard to tell from the pictures, but if it's just on the pupil, some black acrylic paint should work fine.

its the black pupil and a hint of the brown around. I guess #66 is the double whammy of bad luck.

I too had this problem with mine and my choice at the time was either keep it and deal with it or return for a refund but there were no more replacements from Sideshow. I too used rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip and it came of easily. I then used some Testors clear gloss on the eyes and surrounding area and it looks like it should have from the factory judging from the other photos on the board. I too would say use some acrylic black paint to get rid of that scratch and then use the clear gloss over it and it should come out good enough.
