Hmmph! Hmm-hmm. Hmm-HMM-hmph! Hee-hee-hee. Hmm-hee.

(Since you were already spouting Yoda, I thought I'd give you a little preview of this week's episode.)

this edition is a perfect example of why the force cast works so well and will always be better than any officially sanctioned lucasfilm podcast.

you get all the news, but you also get the hosts being brutally honest with their opinions on things like star wars actors moaning about their experience working on the films. having said that, i dont agree entireley with their reaction to ralph browns comments, but its interesting to here their point of view none the less. ( ralph brown was fantastic in the film 'withnail and i', and to be fair its the dialogue he was given in episode 1 that stinks rather than his delivery).
another enjoyable podcast http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Ahhh! Ralph Brown, memories of C3, complaining that the "kids" next door were too loud. Yup, good times good times.

....to be fair its the dialogue he was given in episode 1 that stinks rather than his delivery...

GL: "uh... We've got to convey that Anakin is adept at piloting because Obi-Wan recalls that even before he met him he was a skilled pilot. How do we do that?"

Rick McCallum: "Have Obi-Wan meet him while he's flying a starfighter."

GL: "Nope. Can't do that. He's ten."

RM: "Ten?1? What the [censored] are you thinking?"

GL: "Trust me, it'll be cool."

RM: "Okay, then have someone talk about how great a pilot he is. Maybe another pilot."

GL: "hmmm.... Good idea. Since you had it, I'll call him 'Rick'. He'll be a pilot and Anakin will watch what he's doing and he'll comment on how well Anakin catches on."

RM: "Glad to help."

GL: "uh... We've got another problem. We have to introduce Coruscant as a city-planet. Maybe we can fly through the CGI planet and set the stage."

RM: "That's too [censored] Star Trek. You yourself said that the effects shouldn't overwhelm the story, but be the setting for the story. [Censored], George! What are you [censored] thinking?"

GL: "uh, I was just seeing if you were listening. Heh, heh. I'll just have that 'Rick' guy explain it in a line of dialogue."

RM: "Just don't turn him into a [censored] Captain Obvious."

GL: "I won't. I think he'll introduce Palpatine, too. Otherwise new kids won't know who he is and some of the older fans might think he's the Emperor since he has the same nose. We've gotta keep this a big secret."

RM: "Yes, George."

(Just a preview of the 5th release of recordings from Celebration -- the "bonus features" forum that no one attended or heard.)

"Remember, the Force will be with you...until 2012. And then all bets are off!"

Brilliant Pete!

Awesome. Simply awesome. I'm starting to think the Jawas have night jobs in marketing.

Absolutely fantastic episode, guys! Pete's voicemail is an instant classic. While he was talking about the mid-wife droid all I could think about was the "Dr. Ball" segment from the Robot Chicken Star Wars episode.

"She's lost the will to live?! Well, don't use any of the billions of dollars worth of medical equipment around you to save her!"
