And thus concludes September and brings us to the final regular episode with Pete. His "hiatus" has now begun. Let us join with the many others who had nice parting words for our favorite co-host. We here at FCTV will miss you, Pete.

Bye-Bye Buddy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AE0PyyPyLM)

...

Now the new era begins! Jason's baby has come. We have the new, improved Force Cast format. And don't forget the Clone Wars on TV every week! The future's so bright, even the Jawas gotta wear shades!

Wow. That was a powerful episode, Jawas. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Well done, as always. We're really gonna miss you, Pete!

Well, everyone here is very polite, and we are so glad that you are. So is everyone here being nice and using the old "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?" But what was wrong with this week's FCTV? Was it too sad, not funny enough? Too short, too long? Was it not the vid at all, but our statement about moving on at the top of this thread? Or is it nothing to do with us at all (unthinkable!) and everyone is too concerned with Jason's new baby, or the complete break-down of the U.S. economy, to comment on a "dumb old" video? What is it? Why no love for the Jawas?

Fear not kind Jawas. I think most of us are in farewell Pete overload at the moment. The video is high quality as always. I love the clip of Star Trek II worked in. Happy Trails at the end was a nice touch as well.

But what was wrong with this week's FCTV?

I'm not in it enough. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What was that song in my background? And I've gotta get you some new pics of me. Maybe something with Ziro. I liked that.

Though I don't quote on FCTVs very often for some reason (at least on here), what LMB says is true. This week's video is as well-made and entertaining as always and a fitting tribute to our favorite (human) co-pilot. I likewise appreciate the eclectic choice in music that appears in these videos (in as much as you never know what to expect). The Jawas Three do good work.

Because I'm confused. I thought it was well done, but do I give it a good rating? But if I give it a good rating, am I failing to relate my sorrow at Pete's departure, er, hiatus? I loved the "Happy Trails" to complete the video, otherwise, I'd have been way too depressed.

Really, a fine tribute, Kay and Mark. I'm just in limbo this week.

Not to mention, I'm busy <s>stealing</s> acquiring some clips for this week's FCFFL Review.

Thanks for the video, though Jawas.
As always, top marks! (and top kays for that matter)

There was absolutely nothing wrong with your video this week. It was just long enough, just poignant enough, and just Jawa-y enough. I have a knee-jerk reaction to Jawa videos in that I always respond with, "Great video!" or something like that. But I'm glad to see my sentiments -- as always -- are accurate and justified.

That was very nice, Jawas. A fitting tribute to a man who will be back. Thanks!

I just got around to seeing the video now, guys, and VI loved it! It was just the right combination of funny and poignant. Loved the "Cat" sequence (what was that on the TV in the background, anyway?).

Well done, Jawas, and fare thee well, Pete.

Don't worry Jawas, we weren't ignoring you. Great video as always.... ::sniff, sniff:: It's just a lot recently with all the farewell Pete stuff.

It's like I've lost a best friend, or a family member... Oh wait, we all have. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif

But, I know it's for the best, and it's only "Smell ya later". http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thank you all for responding. None of us have gotten much sleep lately here in the Sandcrawler, so maybe we were just being a bit needy. Anyway, thank you all.

Answers:

Shua:
We assume you are joking, but just in case, the song is "Hair" from the musical, "Hair." It is about... (wait for it)... HAIR. We figured it is the type of music you would listen to at home and it might be in the background when you called in.

Shaz:
You CAN give the video a high rating! It's ok.

Jorbex:
The music and video in the background for the cat sequence is called "The Cat Came Back." Apparently, it is very popular in Canada, and all the people our age remember it from when they were kids. It is about a cat that just shows up and ruins a man's life. It seems like the kind of thing a cat would like to watch. "The Cat Came Back" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNyqXsv4Ueo)

By the way, I very rarely do anything but kid around here. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Great episode Jawas! It was a fitting tribute to Pete, not too sad or dramatic, but a fun and entertaining way to remember his contributions to the show and to fans, just the way Pete would probably want it! http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Well done FCTV once again Jawas!!

I really enjoyed it and it was perfectly done.

Liked hearing Happy Trails in the episode.

When Pete returns maybe you could play the "Welcome Back Kotter" theme song. Just an idea. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif
