Wow! That movie was so great that I just had to have a piece of it. So I picked-up DC's Joker mini-bust off the 'bay for $50 & it looks great in-person. Really happy with it. And IMO, it's miles ahead of the HoyToys 1/4 version in the likeness category despite it's diminutive size.

Also, I've found it's becoming tough to find readily available through on-line retailers too. Sure, its' on the 'bay, but a quick check of ended auctions shows that this piece has held it's value quite well so far here in the early stages. Glad I got it when I did.

Here's a quick snap of mine;

BTW, I find DC's "The Dark Knight" Batman mini-bust laughably bad.

I got this a few weeks ago when my local comic shop got it in, and I love it. The likeness is great and so are the paint apps. It's a bit on the small side but the overall quality makes it well worth picking up. I think the Hot Toys version looks ok but I'm not a fan of the armless bust look at all. Yeah, I know that's what a bust technically looks like but I still don't like it. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I want what I can't have. :P

Something I want but right now I can't really afford to spend $65 on a bust.

I heard a Joker Koto is being made? Anyone can confirm this rumor?

I got this as well as the batman one. They are both done very well....a bit on the small side, but overall very good.

I also recommend the DC direct 12" Dark Knight Joker....very very cool

This one is cool but the Hot Toys Bust I think is much better:

It captures his likeness perfectly in my opinion.

If I could get one that ended up looking exactly like that, I'd go for it, even with the armless look.

To each his own, I guess.

Yeah, the HT piece is larger & has a bit more detail here & there.

But it also has no arms & a severely wrinkled face I just couldn't get around.

What is he, like 80 years old? Methinks not.... http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

:Changed the thread title to reflect all-joker pieces:

Yeah, I still prefer the DCD bust. I'm trying to be a completest when it comes to TDK Joker stuff, but damn is it getting expensive. There's a few items I'm just going to have to do without, at least for a while.

The hot toys looks wrinkly because it's blown up 6, 7 times its actual size in the photo, I've heard from people who have see it in person, the texture looks like real skin, it just looks very grainy/wrinkly when blown up but it works in person.
