San Diego Comic Con....Gentle Giant Exclusives

I was wondering out of the wonderful persons who are going to San Diego Comic Con, if you would be willing to order 1 or 2 of the Commander Cody Gentle Giant Mini busts that are the convention exclusive. They will do a preorder for them within the next week or 2 and will be around $50 each. You will have to put them on a credit card ahead of time. I will paypal you the money + fees once you have told me that you have preordered them, since you will be guaranteed them to pick up at the con. You are only allowed to order one per person but if 2 persons are going you can preorder 1 for each. I will also include money to ship it back to Virginia either from Comic Con or when you return home.
I would greatly appreciate it if there is someone who would be willing to do this. Please PM me or email me at JSWEB3@comcast.net. I have posted this on the Rebel Legion and Sunrider base boards. I am only needing 2 + maybe 1 more, and will pay retail + tax and shipping. Thanks
    Joel

PS: I am also looking for the McQaurrie Ben and Yoda that will be at Comic Con and the R2-KT action figure for charity. I will pay upfront for everything including shipping. Thanks

He's a Class A guy. I can vouch for him if anyone is willing to do this. I tell ya Joel, you're walking a knife's edge though as all the commander busts for the various cons are like gold and cost nearly as much!

Thanks Troy and Travis....I appreciate the responses...and the vote of confidence.
I know that the other ones are going to be hard if not impossible to get....I am almost willing to trade my Malak or Yoda(spirit) for the Cody but I think that the way money talks I am better off going that route.
See ya at the Fanforce meeting on the 19th Troy
and thanks in advance for the notification on the bust Travis

Ya know, I'm sure he's a class A guy, but I just gotta say that when I posted in the Richmond section 'is anybody going to CIV?' he never replied, and now he wants help at another convention.

Not trying to stir up any controversy, I'm just saying if you want help, offer it too. It works both ways.

I apologize if I never got back to you....CIV was my first con and I didnt know what to expect, so I couldnt promise to get anything for anyone since I didnt know what the lines were like, and that I was volunteering for OPX which took up a lot of my time. I didnt even make it to some of the things I really wanted to go see. I was lucky enough to get one of the Boba Fetts as well as my Gentle Giant stuff that I preordered. I also didnt know about the quantity restrictions on the Hasbro figs and such...where the lines were astronomical....my bad. I am very happy that Travis is able to help out and if I were going I would do the same since I know what to expect now. Should I go ahead and offer assistance now for CV just in case I go?

Asking if anyone needs anything at CV, that's funny. If i was going to use sarcasm i might ask, "why would someone need two SDCC Cody busts?" You're not going to e-bay one of those are you? Lastly who is Travis? alk3 is named Milton. Good luck, and if anyone else in the VA board is going i hope they're nice enough to at least let you know and try to help you out. Oh wait

Actually I was asking for a second one for Yoda-Worshiper as a favor since I wasnt able to get him the Gree in Cali. at CIV. He is a member of the Richmond Fanforce and I was doing him a favor. I got lucky before CIV and was able to preorder 1 of the Gree Yoda and Malak. I wasnt about to stand in line for hours just to maybe get another one.
Actually the person that I have been conversing with as far as I know who goes by alk3 is:
    Travis Milton
    Executive Chef Bottega Bistro
Maybe I have his name backwards but I havent been corrected yet.
    Just trying to be cordial

Oi Vay! Come on folks, let's all be nice here. Shiv was in fact trying to help me out with a Cody. He and I have talked about this a few times, and I appreciate his efforts. Hopefully at some point I'll be able to secure one.

Also...when he went to C4, he was a bit over whelmed. It was his first Con/Convention ever and he wasn't sure what to expect. He was extremely helpful in being able to secure me both of the McQuarrie figures and was also kind enough to pick up two pieces of art work that I had pre-purchased from the artists.

Shiv is a stand up guy, and a tremendous asset to all of us here at RS, and the FanForce.
