Help a brother out, let\'s talk Gentle Giant

You guys may or may not have noticed that I've been rarely posting around these parts anymore. Reason being I'm sick and tired of Hasbro for the most part. My answer to the problem? I've moved on to Gentle Giant and Sideshow almost completely. (I plan on finishing off the Saga set and then calling it quits afterwards with Hasbro)

No idea how many of us Florida folks collect GG but I was hoping someone may have an extra Utapau bust coming their way. I've got the white trooper and the 501st coming in from SWShop already but I still need an Utapau.

And now that that's out of the way, anyone else moving away from Hasbro? For me it kind of clicked after I ordered the Jabba set from SS earlier last week.

I pick them up from time to time. It really depends on what's out there. I kinda like the bust-ups but would rather have the full sized. GG is a bit frustrating cause all the SUPER cool ones are usually exclusives and unless you are super quick with the star wars shop website it's a bit costly to get them. Also If you are bactracking to get older busts that can truly break the bank. the newer vader bust is awesome as is the palpatine. And I'm assuming you saw that slave leia. HOT!!!!!!!!
That's the costume Superman wears to blend in with us. Clark Kent is how Superman views us. And what are the characteristics of Clark Kent. He's weak... he's unsure of himself... he's a coward. Clark Kent is Superman's critique on the whole human race.

definitely not moving away from hasbro. with the great stuff they've got coming out next year, i don't see how you can fault them. they're really coming out with some nice stuff.

if you like GG stuff, you can try tate's comics on university drive, a little ways north of oakland park blvd. (not sure of the specific address). there's also past present and future comics just down the road (farther north, less than a mile past tate's). they've got a lot of GG stuff, and also kotobuyika.

I love GG ! I quit Hasbro a couple of years ago. Sorry, but I've only got one orange bust coming. Check out my collection to see some of my GG stuff. Later

I moved over to collecting SideShow & Gentle Giant items about 2 years ago, and I am only missing a few older GG mini busts. If you want to keep up with GG items, you need to be aggressive.

The Orange troop is going to be tough at this point, most have been long pre ordered. But there are plenty of other mini busts that you can still get at retail, so don't give up! Keep watching SWShop as well.

Best of luck with your new collection!
