Yeah, it's always a little disappointing when the suits don't look like the comics but I can understand it as long as it makes sense to change it. Hell, I remember when I was a kid and first saw the suit for Batman '89 I was upset, because his suit was all black and not blue and grey like the comics.

but why so much into the "armor" thing? where are the muscles?

    [/QUOTE]

I'm actually relieved there's no muscles. I always thought that was pretty lame. I mean really, why would Batman have sculpted rubber muscles on his suit? The world created for Begins is meant to be more realistic and having Batman in armor makes more sense than fake muscles. I always thought it was a way to make up for the lack of physique for the actors who previously played him. Christian Bale is in great shape, so he wouldn't need them anyway.

Thats true. And overall he seems a bit scrawny compared to the way he looked in Begins. Like I said when I first saw the pic of Batman for Begins I was like "what the hell is this" and I hated it.

I think it was this one,

Then I finally saw it in the theaters and love it. I pretty sure this will feel the same. While I'm not to crazy about the armor, if it's pulled off right it will work. I hope the show the transition as well. I want to see both suits in this one.

Couldn't have said it better. I completely agree. Armor makes more sense than muscles. Bale already has muscles. Rubber ones over it would be superfluous. In Begins, the designers were going for the ultimate protection: a beta soldier suit that would withstand wear and tear. I think what they are trying to go for this time is an upgrade of that same idea. They are slowly sleeking him up, while at the same time offering Bruce a safe way of roaming through Gotham. We have to remember the guy doesn't have any powers. Even though he's in peak physical condition, he can't exactly dodge bullets.

I think this suit will be just fine and I'm glad they're at least putting in an effort to realistically progress his versatility.

You will, at least until its destroyed, which is why we'll get the new car!! That's something I like, they show the progression of his armor and toys!!

As for the suit, I am agreeance with eveveryone, save Keaton, about the musles!! It's stupid to have fake muscles molded onto the suit!! It ads a touch of realistm when the suit has actual armor and areas that are reinforced!! There's a reason why his chest area looks bigger, it needs better protection!! I also like this sleek new suit, and think it'll be heads and tails above the old one!!

Are you kidding me? When I saw the first image of it, I may have felt that way, but after seeing it in action? How could you not be amazed by how cool it was?

I'm OK with the costume. I never liked how Batman couldn't move his next in the past. I'm not a big fan of the shoulder pads.

What's the deal with razors shooting out of the gloves? I hope that's not correct. Batman throws batterangs. He doesn't shoot razors from his forearm.
