Yeah! SWS.COM says Fett aint coming until OCT. now, it used to say Aug. but I don't mind because that gives me time to breath between.
Do you suppose they are from the same run as the ones that have been out ?
Now I'm just wondering why October, unless they ARE reissuing but with different deco as the ist ROTJ Fett.
I know they sold out in Japan...I wonder...
The box, though sounds like it's the same as the original --
Unless they have a deal besid the one with sideshow, but that doesn't make any sense -- why wouldn't SS have it, right?
The assurance to the Japanese version owners was that the U.S. releases were to be deco'd and packaged differently than the Japanese counterparts...to keep the integrity of the edition size of each run.
I'm second-guessing my first assessment, which is that it's more of the actual first fett...from Japan...
Maybe a question for sideshow is in order??
Yeah it'd be good to know. Either way,if they're a new run or left overs, I don't care.I just want it, but I can wait til Oct (I say that now but in a few weeks when Vader and Stormtrooper get here,I'll be crying)
I really want to find out cause I want at least one of each but - I already have a rotj an the esb fett's -- the only other style I need is the concepts or the animation colors =)
my thoughts exactly. i just dont get these. i dont want to sound like a jerk. i just dont get it.Originally Posted by MrPickles
That's fine, please ,there are Japanese figures, that are smaller and have no packaging or joints that people pay easily $300 for and up, let alone a good 9" articulated figure for $50-$60. I can see were someone doesn't get it, but you oughta check out some Japanes vinyl toy collectors, they're even crazier, the hardcore ones at least.
Unless the look simply doesn't appeal to you, you should actually check one out -- the quality is amazing -- but the design is more of an urban style that is really created for a niche market -- a market that grew up on cheap super deformed style figures and graphiti art -- so it won't appeal to everyone -- I don't particularly enjoy sd's but I LOVE these toys...even the packaging is high quality...and well crafted like the firgures themselves - no sloppiness in paint apps...check one out, at the very least, the quality won't disappoint - and the care that really goes into these figs...
Just got my processing notification from Sideshow for the 501st Clone Trooper.
Looks like they will charge next Monday so maybe this will be shipped out and in peoples hands by the end of July.
Can't wait to get this one.
