I was inspired by this semi serious thread from the ROTS Forum.

I thougt it might be best to completely revamp the thread than to have it moved to the appropriate forum.
The Pilots could be handled in many ways in the coming years.

There are currently no announced plans for a Wave in which any one of these characters could fit, but I believe something along the lines of separate Screen/Cinema Scenes
or Deluxe 2-3 packs would work well.

Ideally I'd rather see some of the more prominent characters carded in the Basic line at a later time than to see their sculpts and articulation suffer.

Later in '06 or '07 would work for me, while understanding some characters may be opted closer to the end of Hasbro's run, if never produced at all.

Here are some of the pilots I would like to see handled carded, or on par with a Basic figure.

1. DUD BOLT (Pod Racer Pilot) w/ DUM-4 Pit Droid and goggles.
2. RATTS TYERELL (Pod Racer Pilot) w/ Otoga-222 Pit Droid and goggles.
3. ALDAR BEEDO (Pod Racer Pilot) w/ DUM-4 Pit Droid and goggles.
4. WAN SANDAGE (Pod Racer Pilot) w/ Otoga-222 Pit Droid and goggles.
5. ELAN MAK (Pod Racer Pilot) w/ Otoga-222 Pit Droid and goggles.
6. NEVA KEE (Pod Racer Pilot) w/ Otoga-222 Pit Droid and goggles.
7. MAWHONIC (Pod Racer Pilot) w/ DUM-4 Pit Droid.
8. BOLES ROOR (Pod Racer Pilot) w/ DUM-4 Pit Droid and goggles.
9. ARK "BUMPY" ROOSE (Pod Racer Pilot) w/ DUM-4 Pit Droid and goggles.
10. CLEGG HOLDFAST (Pod Racer Pilot) w/ DUM-4 Pit Droid and goggles.
11. MARS GUO (Pod Racer Pilot) w/ DUM-4 Pit Droid and goggles.

At this point I couldn't really care less about Ebe Endocott or Ben Quadrinaros, but I may not mind them upon seeing their figure, or if they were to be included in a multipack.

I agree! I'd love to see ALL the Podracers. If they were to make only a few however, I'd place my bets on Mawhonic and Quadrinaros.

I'm sure they'd be a hit with the collectors.

I'd like Boles Roor, or Clegg Holdfast. Ratts Tyrell would be cool too.

There's only three podracers I'd like to see in plastic:

Dud Bolt
Ratts Terryl
Mawhonic

Maybe Ben Quadrinaros because he was featured in a few scenes but I really don't care for the character design. Looks like they gave arms and legs to this guy:

Just like the cantina aliens and jabba's palace all the podracer pilots need to be made at some point to complete the set. They don't all have to be made at once but one or 2 every now and again would be nce. I'd start off with the characters that had a little bit of screen time so for me that would be:

Dud Bolt
Ratts Tyerell
mawhonic
clegg holdfast
Ben Quadrinaros

Once they are done Hasbro could move onto the rest. Maybe Hasbro could come out with like 8 or so packs with 2 pilots per card and a miniature/micro machine version of their podracer.

I would like Ratts Tyerells family ,from the deleted scens, in a sinema scene. And also the rest of Wattos box like Grimey.

I would like a few more pod racers. Some had some pretty cool designs but I do not want to see a figure of Ben Quadinerios. That character is a disgrace to star wars, as I have said a million times before he belongs in A Bugs Life not Star Wars.
