yes one of their staff was apparently putting stock in the bins and then coming back after work to steal it. not very good. but after being assured that they had sorted my wrong order (sent back 2 weeks ago now) and that it would be sent to me last monday i find it hard to sympathise with them seeing as i still have yet to recieve the correct goods.

I'm still waiting for 2 OTC Chewie's I ordered back in August 2004

    That's sixteen quid I won't see again

They said it was out of stock when I ordered them way back, but still charged me

I'm supposed to believe that in the intervening 10 months that haven't been able to get hold of any

    Or maybe they haven't tried?

I wouldn't mind so much but they charged me for figures they knew they didn't have

They could have charged me for the rest of my order and waited to charge me for the Chewie's, but hey I guess I live in a different world

It's very sad as I always got good service from them, but I lost my faith after one mistake too many (and it wasn't just one mistake)

How many people here think I'll actually get either my £16 back or the figures?

August 2004?! You should certainly demand they give you a refund as that is simply ridiculous. Interestingly enough they have 2 VOTC Chewbaccas for sale on ebay.

That sucks big time. Not sure if you'd be too late in trying this, but if you paid by credit card, then ask the credit card people to get it back.

Well, I placed an order with them last Tuesday and it arrived on Saturday. Try emailing shop, info, john or john2 @r2dtoys.com for a quicker response...

The trouble is that I would really like those Chewies, I'm after the OTC#8 Chewie, is this figure still out there?

The reason I wanted two Chewies, is that I'm normally an opener but a good friend of mine had a son back end of 2003, and I thought it'd be cool to keep a bunch of SW figures unopened back for him as a birthday/xmas present for when he gets a bit older (he would just chew them now, no pun intended).

So I wanted one for me and one to keep unopened, I managed to get two of every other OTC figure, save Chewie. I did get one Chewie at the NEC in December 2004 from a Dutch/German guy who has a stall there, but I only ever saw that one.

I kept that one back, unopened as I have that Chewie when he was POTJ, but I'd still like one for myself. Plus I have paid for both.

So if anyone thinks they've waited a long time for an order from r2dtoys, chances are you haven't waited as long as me.

Luckily, Yoda taught me that a Jedi should have great patience. I know how Obi-Wan felt waiting in the Dune Sea for Luke to grow up.

Should you not just contact them about it though. It seems that if you wait you really aren't ever going to get anything. There is no way they will remember an order from nearly a year ago.
