    r2dtoys problem

I made an order with r2dtoys on friday and never made a note of my order number. I never received an order confirmation email and after mailing them a couple of times to make sure the order went through ok and trying numerous times to phone them i get no response. Has anybody else had problems with them lately? I have seen posts on here saying they were running slow but these are about 6 months old

It has just been a bank holiday here in the UK and doubt they would have been in the warehouse all weekend long..... Amazingly enough they did not even stall up at the Grundy Park Leisure Centre Sci-fi show which took place on Sunday

I too have placed an order over the weekend and have heard nothing so far. But I think its fair to wait a few days before doing anything as they might have had a load of orders in (they ran a promo of free shipping). Luckily though I noted down my order number and printed off the page confirming it all.

I won't worry as I don't recall getting confirmation emails from them for a while.

I was only worrying the order didnt go throught as i made another order a week earlier and did get the confirmation mail. But i definately got to the screen with the order number so it should be fine.

I placed an order for the C3 Vader with them when the Vader appeared on their website. It took awhile to come as I ordered one in the protective case and they didn't have those yet. I did eventually get the order though. However, I do remember getting the confirmation email fairly quickly. Maybe they were having server/email problems again. (Too bad you didn't note the order nuumber though..). I would keep trying to get hold of them.

When you say server/email problems do you mean that the fault was merely with the confirmation email? If i did see an order number does that mean that they definately have the order?

I shouldn't worry yet if I were you - I've made 2 orders with r2dtoys in the last month and they've both arrived fine. I only received the automated order-number email once, though.

I wont worry, id certainly like to speak to them just to make sure though. But their phone is always either engaged or there just isnt a tone at all. frustrating!

I've never known a business to be so hard to get hold of! This is my 4th day of trying now. I suppose the only way of "communicating" with them is waiting to see when my card is charged. Tho given how hard they are to get in touch with theres no real way of knowing if the stuff you ordered was even in stock
