Only 44 signed so far, don't think we'll ever get an official Lucasfilm convention in Europe with this low amount.

Personally, I don't believe that this is going to happen. a Celebration was only designed for the movies, and there will be no more movies.

You have no chance of getting Celebration 3 to Europe..... that's the current convention in the US....
Could probs go for a C4 event...
The closest we get is the Memorabilia conventions here in the UK... They happen 2-3 times a year and are fairly big...
However.... no exclusives are brought out especially for that event.
The US holds the market for the biggest sales, and will probably stay that way.....Europe is only small fry, and not worth bothering with...

I spoke to Steve Sansweet about this last night and he said they would love to do a UK Star Wars event, especially as the movies were majorly made in the UK. The trouble is, the UK licenser of the Official Magazine doesn't want to, for whatever reason. Steve suggested that we all write to Titan and tell them that we want a UK Star Wars con. Only with Titan's backing can they make this possible. So get writing guys!
OK, but if the UK dont wants to, lets try it in Germany or Italy at the Naboo Lake loaction.
Apparently the same happens here, wher I was contacted by a friend who had this c-razy idea of trying to start a convention here (the first one in Poertugal).
Everything was set with sponsors, shops, even the official Lucasarts videogames distributor agreed.
We all got stuck when it came to the portuguese licensor (Castello Lopes).
Portuguese fans want to attend conventions? Cool, go abroad!
