Pepsi bottle tops! EPISODE III ANNOUNCED!

Hi guys,

I'm just wondering how you get a hold of yours. Do you import them from a seller in Japan, or do you get them from eBay or some other method perhaps?

I purchased my Episode II bottle caps with the collectors base off of ebay 2 years ago for around $125. I looked into getting them from overseas but it would have been more expensive if I remember right. My Episode I bottle caps came from a toy convention.

I never knew anything about them till one day I saw them at a Japanese toy store in Chicago. Pretty cool, managed to get a Shaak Ti one.

Would any of you be interested in using me as a go between when the Ep III ones come out?

The caps at cost price (1 = the cost of a bottle of Pepsi) + shipping + maybe around $2 for my troubles and I would of course keep the Pepsi!

I would seriously advise against anyone paying you 2 dollars per cap "for your troubles". If it's such a "trouble", don't make the offer in the first place.


Ebay prices will be MUCH cheaper if they do indeed do this again for Episode 3. I was able to get a complete set for about what the soda would have cost, plus shipping. That's all anyone else should expect to pay this time around.

I got most of the Episode 1 + 2 bottle caps. I'm only missing a few of the harder to find exclusive caps (7-11 of Japan double sided caps). I won them in various lots over the years from ebay. I hope at CBIII I'll be able to fill in the gaps in my collection or buy new ones if it's done for Episode III.

I think he's saying he'd get the bottle caps for anyone that wanted him to for $1 a piece. Plus shipping. Plus $2 for his troubles. I could be wrong but I read that to mean $2 for as many as someone would care to buy. Now, $1 a piece isn't bad. That's what I payed when I found some in a junk shop in Hokkaido. And I didn't even get the Pepsi with it. So, heck yeah, if I wanted more of these, it would be well worth the $2 this guy thinks his time is worth. I'd even venture to say it might be worth more. Maybe even $3. Please don't be so hasty to flay a guy who is only trying to benefit the community.
