Or reissue the excellent POTJ Bespin Han, please.
Do the impossible.
that goes for all re-issues in mass.
I've been told by NUMEROUS retsailers that they will not order new cases because what they habve on the shelves/warehouse are not selling. EVERYWHERE I GO, I see dozens of otc Hans, Yodas, Chewies, etc. If customers either kids or collectors do not want the overstock now, we won't want them tomorrow or next week or next month. Eventually, re issueing the SAME characters over and over will prevent retailers from investing into your products, they want what will move and sell not what will sit and collect dust. The reissue concept was bad in 1998, my local walmart (the only retailer w/in reasonable driving distance) stopped ordering any SW toys for 9 months because too many of same toys were packed over and over, the supply exceeded the demand.
Also, re-issuing same char over and over is somewhat an insult to kids and collector's intelligence and EVERYONES including yours-wallet.
This is happening now, with the OTC waves. A Walmart in my area was reported to have the ATST Han/Madine/Lando wave in stock. And they'd gotten between 15 and 30 cases of the same wave, same assortment. I don't suppose I'll have any trouble finding those three figures.Originally Posted by R1G4R3PO
Whose fault is this? Partly Hasbro, partly Walmart. Sorting a case with 3 each of 4 different figures makes little sense. Now, if they were better army builders, sure. If Walmart has any control over their distribution, you'd think they could avoid this, and the liklihood of massive numbers of peg warmers. Perhaps that's expecting too much.
Reissuing Han is a bad thing? And I thought all Star Wars collectors would enjoy this. I've been to many stores and I never saw any Han Solo figures on the shelves. I assumed this was due to the high demand from collectors. In any case, I won't mention another reissue of Han to Hasbro and call it a good idea. Should we reissue Princess Leia instead? I don't think we've reissued that particular figure as many times as Han.

The winter is coming, I believe Han would help very much getting that warm fire going!
I wouldn't mind the multiple re-issues so much if the figure wasn't so scene-specific. All they'd need to do is place his left arm into a more neutral position, and I'd stop griping (for a while, anyway).Originally Posted by FartVader

I agree. I really feel Hasbro will decide to put Han (our FAVORITE POSE) on the new ROTS card and proclaim him with new action pose or some mess. Maybe they should do a 2 pack of Han and Jango Pilot (KIDDING).
Seriously, enough of the Han.
