This may sound stupid; is the XWing an eBay online sales exclusive, or just this first run? The story keeps calling it an exclusive, almost like you can only get it on eBay...

Well, it seems to me to be pretty clear by their language that the X-Wing is an eBay exclusive:
"To celebrate the addition of the JEDI FORCE line to the Star Wars toys universe, PLAYSKOOL has created the X-WING FIGHTER for sale exclusively on eBay this holiday season. "

Test auctions with product photos are now posted, very nice looking packaging!

I'd be a lot more interested in these if it wasn't for the weird made up accessories.

Hope the X-Wing isn't exclusive to ebay at only 5000 units. I hate bidding wars for new product that should be found at local retailers.

It says it will be a fixed price, so I am guessing it will be like a buy it now feature . . . .

Those are interesting... I don't care for the oversized limbs and stuff, but Chewie's head sculpt is adorable!

I think these are all really cool and I can't wait to get them all! The R2-D2 looks really neat, his arms fold out! It seems all teh figures have some sort of cool feature, or something that lights up at least ;-)

I am going to try to get one of the Vaders... I think it was an interesting idea to make an eBay exclusive special edition.
