Who would want one of these? Maybe that and a human Jabba the Hutt? Better yet a "Deleted Scenes" wave eh? Mainly the Biggs though, who would be up for one of these, maybe for the OTC line?

Not sure about the human Jabba but I'd like to see a few "Deleted" Screen Scenes:

Toshi Station (ANH) with Academy Biggs, Camie, and Luke with hat, binoculars, and poncho.

Tatooine Sandstorm (ROTJ) with Luke, Han, and Leia with goggles and cloaks.

I'd prefer this fig if he was part of a small line of concept/EU figs. Don't seem to be prevy to such isolated figs sprinkled in with regular film characters. But since this year most figs belong to a certain theme or film, that might change a bit for 2004/2005.

You mean the Cruisemissile Trooper huh? Anyhoos, those things were originally intended to provide vehicles with figures at cost-effective prices, harkening back to the mini-rigs of the vintage days.

I think your comment is more geared to the idea of Hasbro spending money on 'wasted' ideas such as on the Cruisemissile Trooper. Now I'm not one to defend the idea of creating vehicles such as the Cruisemissile Trooper, but this is just Hasbro's mentality of weighing production costs against retail profit while simulateneously providing the consumer with an increased sense of playability at a certain cost.

Now, is the idea of a EU Biggs somewhat 'risky' to Hasbro. Well, it depends on certain factors if the idea is mutually acceptible at some current stage of planning when new products are being introduced. Also, if previous experience with regards to the release of EU is profitable to Hasbro.

Frankly speaking, the release of EU Biggs is a relatively obvious choice. I think the time has to come when Hasbro comes to terms when it is agreeable for them to release him because of his relative popularity among the collector base. As to when is anybody's guess. I'm sure they have wanted to have such a character made for quite some time, it's just a matter of when.

I support 110% with this proposal for Hasbro to release the LONG OVERDUE version of Biggs Darklighter in his spiffy looking Academy togs.
