The Yankees/Red Sox, the brawl, and YOU: thoughts and observations

Here's the way I see it.

Pedro should have been ejected for retaliating for the runs scored against Garcia with the headhunting.

Manny Ramirez should have been thrown out of the game for charging the mound on a pitch that did not hit him or even come close to him.

Don Zimmer should have stayed in the dugout

yeah, a few of the sox really confirmed their low-life status today.

but oh well, i guess they have a lot to be frustrated about.

If Zimmer didn't want to get decked, he should have stayed in the dugout.

I'd still like to see a boston-Cubs series.

Yes, Zimmer should of stayed in the dugout, but what Pedro did was a disgrace. The most disgusting thing I have seen in baseball in a long time(Think Roberto Alomar)

Pedro, Manny as well as Zimmer should of been ejected.

The reason I think they were left in the game were. They are in Boston, the game is on FOX and it is the play offs. If this were a regular season game, they would of been ejected right away.

The Red Sox are showing very little class.

What about the Red Sox groundskeeper who jumped onto the field??

I mean....I can't wait to hear what happened there, but it sounds like he might have had a little too much team spirit as well.

Man, what a heartbreaker for Boston.

I didn't see what happened, but no matter what happened, there's no excuse for throwing someone to the ground, let alone a man as old as Zimmer.

I'm a yankees fan through and through, but any sympathy I had for the Red Sox given their playoff history, just went right out the window.

Game four should be interesting though

Well Dressel, you're obviously being biased since you are a Yankees fan.

Don Zimmer is a moron, but what do you expect from a Yankee. Should Pedro have tossed him to the ground? No, but he could've done something MUCH worse. Next time the old man needs to know his role.

<font size="2" face="arial">Someone is bitter that Don Zimmer could not manage the Cubs to the World Series back when he was their manager.
