The next Governor of California!
![]()
Congrats to Arnold Schwarzenneger, perhaps he can reverse the oppressive rule of the liberals under which the Californians have suffered under for years.
Hard to believe that yet another election has gone to the Republicans. They have been cleaning house for years now, Americans are finally waking up and handing power to the Republicans hand over fist.
Don't have cable right now and I was watching the Cubs-Marlins instead of Nightline. Is the Termination of Gray Davis confirmed? Also, what is Peter Mayhew's position on lowering the state income tax in Illinois?

Here in WA, we're planning on electing either Kelsey Grammar or Tom Hanks, because they've both done so much for the city of Seattle in the past, and they MUST have a good idea on how to run this state.
I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry JoshEEE.
I stand by my original statement when he first announced - JESSE VENTURA II.
The Death Star will be completed on schedule!!!
Vive l' Empereur!!!
Oh man...Welcome to Kolly-fornia.
This guy better bring some substance. So far he's nothing but Hollywood, that's fun and all but I don't know -- here we go again Gipper. He's just a figurehead.
I'm lookng at real estate in Costa Rica.
SF precinct reports almost 80% voted NO, my kind of town.
At this point, I'm going to remain somewhat opinionless and hopeful, what the hell else is there. I could never feel anything strong enough about Gray Davis to connect to, but still don't believe the general populace here digested enough data about Davis vs. Schwarzie to come to a more rational decision (merely IMO). The GOP in CA is a bad omen for the environment and a lot of people here (like 15 million or so). I'm going to stay optimistic and see how it shakes out, but I'm not expecting anything except a bunch of puppetmaster's running the Governator. Wilson-ites, most likely back in the HEY-ouse. SO we voted out Bill Simon last year but now we want him back in to run all the finances?? B/c that's what he'll be doing. Think about the barn door that just swung open and Bill Simon just rolled in behind Arnold. And abunch of others, mostly old-school from the last Republican regime.

This, my RS forum people, is why I kinda stick to the subcultures and undergrounds anyway. So it don't hurt so much when the system you don't want grows stronger....

You are behaving like a perfect *******. What a world you live in, Dressel Rebel. I only say that because after reading countless posts, you really believe that, you're not kidding when you say that, evena little bit, and you inwardly believe it deeply, I'm convinced. It's preposterous, and especially because your posting style about politics is not absurdist or dry-witty, from what I've seen. How is it that people take you seriously (because you're always so serious/authoritative in your political posts) when you insist on dishing platitudes like that, which defy any objectivist reason? Or did you forget to put the winky emoticon in there, or the "big smile" guy?
[edit because I couldn't put *** in the reply]

GREAT!!! Now in 6 months all of the sore losers can try another recall, and the dog and pony show can continue. Nothing like a good distraction to take the public's mind of the serious events in the world.
On the other hand, if he does a good job it shows how easy the position of governor really is.
