Wizard of Oz Still Awesome!

I would love if some company would make toys of the original Baum character designs. They are great.

I love the Wizard of Oz also. Some friends of mine have reccomended watching the movie with the volume turned down and Pink Floyd's 'Dark side of the Moon' Playing over it. They say if you start the CD between the first and second lion roars during the MGM logo, the album will fit the movie perfectly.

One more thing to add to the trivia thing about the Shrley Temple thing was that MGM wanted her BAD. But they couldn't get her from 20th Century Fox. They wanted her so bad that they even offered Clark Gable (I think) and someone else pretty big in trade. Fox still refused. Best thing they did in my opinion. Judy Garland rules...and I'm not gay.

<font size="2" face="arial">Yeah it's cute. Some stuff is pretty cool.. like heart beats during the tin man song. But most of it is you just justifying parallels. Don't get Pink Floyd nuts talking about it though. If I hear the "They were going to show the movie during the concert" thing one more time I'll pop someone.

I never heard anything about playing it during a concert. Some of my friends got stoned and did it and said it was pretty cool that's all. Please don't hurt me. I'm not even a Pink Floyd fan really. Well, except for 'The Wall'. Still please don't hurt me!

It's really good to sync it up with "Dark Side of the Moon", and some kindness. [IMG]images/icons/wink.gif[/IMG] Works great with "The Easy Dub All Star: Dub Side of the Moon" too.
