    Is that IG88 behind Lando?

Nice looking piece based off the ESB one sheet.

    far away....

It looks like IG-88, just trying to figure out who did this.

I'm pretty darn good when it comes to art pieces, and I'm stumped man.

Where did you discover the image?

I saw it over at the freaks forum. Several people are saying McQuarrie but to me that doesn't fit McQuarrie's style.

You're right, it does not look like McQuarrie at all. This looks very much like a vintage piece, done at, or around the time of ESB. Possible done for a TV Listings or Magazine cover, maybe even a comic publication. If you look at the composition, there appears to be plenty of space for the title banner/copy above Hans head.

It kind of reminds me of the Burger King promo posters that were done for Star Wars in 77/78.

Could it be John Berkley? He did the poster for the Star Wars soundtrack and I think that there's some similarity with the style of the ships.

This looks like a copy of Roger Kastel's original Empire Strikes Back artwork.

Sometimes a poster design was copied and enlarged for a cinema billboard overseas, making it a 'copy', or it may simply be a copy that was made by a fan. Do you know what size it is?

When I was writing an article about Empire posters for SW Insider, I couldn't locate the artist for this piece either, as it is uncredited even in the LFL Image Archives. It could very well be a Roger Kastel submission, however -- the snow mountains on the left look very similar to the style he used on his GWTW style poster for ESB...
