from a certain point of view.

Not a real limelight. Well, maybe it is!
"from a certain point of view" might someone familiar say

It's probably out here somewhere already... this forum is HUGE, so a single link given by someone who knows where to find what I'm looking for is already helpful...

if not, let me get this started.
You know, sometimes people post these absolutely great pictures which brings you back in time. I'm not talking about those Christmas/childhood pictures, but what I'm looking for are vintage store pictures! There are a few on the internet, there might be many many more.

So let me post some below.. I figured there are more pictures like this? If so, please add and they would make this thread a great (justified) limelight !!
(if not, go ahead, tell me )

PS pictures borrowed from Classic Star on FB and plaidstallions, I hope that is okay?
SAX, zhamlau, JEFFS_MUSEUM and 6 others like this.

Very cool pictures, thanks for sharing! My local Target and TRUS could learn a lot about inventory from these pictures.... Those were the good old days.!!

I guess 12 inch C3PO was the pegwarmer of his day...

Surprised to see so many of the doll figures actually, don't remember seeing them at all back in them days in the UK.

You know, I thought the same. Well, about being surprised to see so many 12" dolls that is.
From what I remember here in Holland, we didn't have that many 12" dolls at all (I remember ROTJ era...which explains)
But nice, to see so many of them, as peg warmers indeed
Would that be a Wal Mart you think?
The other color photo, check the display stand on the left. You can hardly see it, but do someone recall what display stand that is (full picture somewhere?)

This pic below from the same site you can just see it says Macys New York. I can see a bunch of TIE's on the left and Land Speeders on the right but can anyone make out what all those boxed toys are in the lower centre of the display?

Would love to see more vintage store photo's like this in color, especially during Empire time frame. Also would love to see POTF on the pegs in 1985.
