    Proof of Purchase Question

    Hi All,

I'm using the current lull in SW toys to do a bit of cleaning of my collection and came across some old CW and Legacy card backs with proof of purchase seals on them.
Are the proof of purchase seals worth anything? Is there any reason to keep them? Can they be used in future promotions?
Thanks in advance for any help.

    JD

Hasbro last used them for a mail in figure a few years back but with the higher cost now chances are Hasbro will not be doing a similar promotion anytime soon. They aren't worth squat really, your better off tossing them in the bin and reclaiming some space.

durring the Rocket Firing Boba Fett and the prototype Boba Fett promotion people were sending just about anything they had, Legacy, Vintage, old Kenner, cereal box tops, pieces of old recipts, etc. Maybe those old proofs arent really worthless.

    I agree.

I'd hold onto them. You never know if they might do another mail-away.

Thanks for all of the replies. I'm trying to free up space, so I may just stash a small number of these guys and toss the rest.
