These are already out - just picked up Steve? at TRU. They're AWESOME little toys.

Dude said they sold through multiple cases within a day. Endermen and Creepers were long gone. Got one of the last two Steves?; there were a handful of Zombies left.

Amazing that we never even saw prototypes.

They really are nice. My daughter (5, massive Minecraft fan) and I got the rest of series 1 yesterday. They're so much fun, and they reflect a really great understanding of the game.

I must say I'm surprised as how expensive they are ($10), all things considered, but that price won't stop these from just destroying in sales this year.

Nintendo has (for decades now) overlooked this very simple opportunity for all of their brands: small, articulated, accessories-included action figures. They should have a long running brand of Nintendo All-Stars at this point. There could be hundreds of figures by now (think of all the Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Zelda, etc. heroes and villains.)
