No doubt. I think this is overdue, the classic era without 30+ of EU chaos sounds refreshing, esp. to us old, original fans. I do love it all, but nothing feels or delivers like the OT era.
Is there a link to find out more about the SW comic coming next year.

Duh!!! Am sorry did not realized it was a link! Thanks Chris!Originally Posted by Chris Wyman
I will check this out... I liked Wood's comics "DMZ" and "The Massive".... I really like his writing.... if you can find The Massive, I would pick it up... the second issue jsut came out. It is essentially the wolrd is coming to an end and a bunch of "green" environmentalists are left on a huge boat called the Massive..... along with some other people that they are trying to avoid... its an intersting take.
I'm very excited about this one. Although I'm getting out of collecting I will likely be picking these up

They have tried comics before set in between the movies before and they keep saying they don't work, yet here they go again creating another comic in that time period. I will see how it is but I don't have high hopes for it.
I'm excited by the OT setting. I think I may be more excited about an Ongoing Series and not the 5-6 Issue Arc, then switch to 4 other comics, and then get it going again 9 months to a year later. I know the reason DarkHorse does this is to sell more Issue #1s, but I like continuity and an ongoing series.
I have absolutely no interest in a OT set series. However if Wedge and Bossk are really in It I will hold out hope.
