X WIng to Colonial Viper

I was looking at an old X Wing that needed some repairs to restore it and wondered if I could convert it to something like a Colonial Viper from Battlestar Galactica instead?
Here is the result, hope you like it!

Pretty creative.

With a little more customizing you could get awfully close to a viper methinks.

I did something similar when I was a kid, when I took a broken X-Wing and turned it into one of the bad-guys ships from Buck rogers.

Yep, its not quite there, 4 engines instead of 3, the tail fin is too tall and the nose too sharp, but hey it only took a few hours!

awesome work. was never really a huge BSG fan but it looks great, could quite easily fit into the SW universe.

I've actually wanted to do something similiar with a broken X-Wing / TIE Fighter and make an Ugly. problem is I still need the parts from both ships to build it. I sold the broken TIE and X-Wing at a yard sale for a couple of bucks.
