AMC's The Killing

Yeah I came into this thread, read the opinions and I don't feel the need to restate what's already been said. I think it's an awful show. The fact that it's about a singular killing and not just a killing per season is pretty boring and it's reached the point where I don't even think it matters who killed her anymore. I stopped watching after season 1.

The ending sucked they didn't nail everyone involved and the aunts part of it made it a joke

Wow... I swear I'm not just being contradictory but I kind of liked the finale. I mean, season 2 was VERY weak compared to the first, but the ending worked for me. It would have been lame if just Jamie was involved, but the fact that the aunt did it was crazy...

I don't like tense and sad moments on TV and movies and generally kind of talk through them to hide my discomfort. During the whole aunt part, I was completely silent and watching raptly.

With how intimately involved you become with the case I feel it would have been a letdown if the crime was simply a wrong place wrong time thing (which it still was) but the it worked out still floors me...

All in all I guess it wasn't the best show ever by any means, the plot seemed to get lost this season a bit.

I'm just saying the finale satisfied me, I guess.

Wonder if it will get another season? I mean, obviously the Larsen case is over but I like the characters of Linden and Holder and could see them working together some more.

I thought it kinda lame she ultimately abandoned her son to remain a cop. Also, the fact that new mayor quickly became a sell-out to those who were conspirators to murder/kidnapping. They all deserve each other...

as is often said, if you didnt like it then dont watch it. why do you have to be a **** about it, some of us did like the show and there are certainly plenty of things on tv still that are far worse than this.

I'm a tiny bit bummed by that news but the second season WAS sort of lackluster and I really don't see where they'd go with it next...
