I have the utmost respect for this project but Mark Dermul had his own part in destroying the SW movie sets, by getting some parts out from there and up for sale. There was a member here who got a movie set part bought directly from Mark Dermul... Who knows how many others suffered the same faith...

Ah..but you don't know Mark, I do. You can buy a piece of the Homestead, Krayt Dragon Bone, Mos Espa, Moisture Vaparator from me too. I did not destroy anything. Mark urged us only to take things that were loose and could be picked up from the sand. If anybody is destroying the sites it's the locals and weather conditions.

The Repro Hadada set for instance is completely destroyed by the desert. I just picked up a piece laying in the sand. (I could sell it to you )

I'm not interested in buying pieces from a movie set. I could have brought my own when I had my trip to Tunisia and didn't.

My biggest issue with Mark besides the damage people have claimed him to have done on his trips, was all his goofy 9/11 "truther" movement stuff he kept posting on his site/links. Sorta turned me off to the guy.

Wow...okay..not much love for Mark.
But this thread was about ME going out there to help restore the Homestead.
I hoped for more positive reactions to this fact rather than negative reaction about one of the 6 people that are going to do this.

Yep. Turns out the dismantling of the Jedi Temple was an "inside job" afterall....lol.
