Well I made arrangements for one, and should have it Thursday. I moved to soon, and it cost me a little more then I wanted to spend. But I've also had one of the sellers on ebay contact me after I made an offer of $2k and then retracted it when I made other arrangements. I told them if they are willing to sell it for that price I would mention it in case there is someone here that wants it for that.

I do think the price on these is going to come down, and like my earlier statement I think because of exclusivity of being a bioware employee item will probably average between 1500 and 2000 for a while, will probably be able to get it for less at some point. But without knowing how many were given out, and only a handfull of employees who opted to cash them out, hard to say still. $3k was definitely out of reality.

I did actually email the guy who had it with the 7500 BIN and politely tell him he was insane, that the gold plated full size lightsabers that were editions of 5 were only worth between $2-4K, and that the Orgus was not that rare in comparison, just exclusive. I think the price on the ESB X-wing helmet is a more accurate comparison without knowing the edition size of the Orgus lightsaber.

According to UPS tracking it should arrive here at my office before end of business on Thursday. While I don't think they will let me use the photo studio here at work, I know there are a couple of lightbox areas set up in product development that I might be able to set it up for an unboxing.
