Tacky? The Hallmark ornaments have some of the best detailing of any Star Wars models or figures. I love these things and have all of them.

One weird thing, why are they saying Lego Vader will finally be released after being announced last year. I got him last year, are they doing him again with a 2012 date on?

I am glad they are re-releasing the Stormy Lego since it was so hard to find last year!

You got Lego Vader? They had the Stormie out last year, not Vader. But they are re-releasing the Stormie again. It was very hard to find

Any word on Con exclusives? Last year it was SDCC and NYCC, I wish they wouldn't do that. It makes keeping up a complete collection really difficult when they limit them to 500 or 700 or 1000.

The Lego Vader was definitely last year. No doubt about that.

I like most all of these, but the Santa Vader doesn't do anything for me. It will likely be the first Star Wars ornament that I skip. I like the TIE a lot, and Han on the Tauntaun. They've really hit Hoth hard over the last few years. I think I'm ready for them to shift their focus to a different film.

As for exclusives, I'm guessing we haven't seen the limited quantity ornament for the Hallmark stores yet. I think those are generally pretty good characters, so I'm curious to see who we'll get. I fully expect to see a 2-pack of Zuckuss and 4-LOM at SDCC this year to go along with Dengar and IG-88 from last year. I imagine they'll do something for NYCC again as well, but I would bet on repaints again....perhaps protocol droids again, perhaps troopers again, or maybe something different. They could start using the ornament of Anakin's ROTS jedi starfighter and do repaints in several other colors. Or maybe they'll just glue Luke's head on a stormtrooper body. We've got a Han like that, right?

Still disappointed they stopped with the Clone Wars ornaments, we still needed an Obi-Wan and a Cody.
