I really hate these shows. My roommate watches them just to hear me rant.

My favorite scene is from "Ghost Hunters International"...they are investigating in JAPAN, and they are walking around in the woods looking for a ghost that has been supposedly haunting this place for generations, and they call out "Is anyone there? Can you communicate with us?"...and I start to scream at the television "YOU ARE IN ****ING JAPAN!!!! Even if there was a ghost, how in the hell are they supposed to UNDERSTAND YOU?!!! They wouldn't speak ENGLISH! You ****ing imbeciles!" And my roommate just laughs and laughs.

So... no, I don't believe in ghosts. And I have yet to see any "compelling evidence" coming out of these ridiculous shows. It's all "parlor tricks", editing, and off-camera noises.

I agree with you guys on the shows, it's all for the ratings.

But has anyone supposedly seen a 'ghost' or a faint outline on a photgraph?

The show that really gets me is that Bigfoot hunters show. Every single freaking noise they hear is a bigfoot, a "squach" as they call it. I also don't like it when ghost hunting shows bring in psychics or mediums. Those I don't believe in.

I hate that show, too. So funny when they yell out their "squatch" calls to make contact! I look at my roommate and just say, "Okay, why are they making that noise? Why not just scream Chewbacca impersonations into the dark?"

My GF watches Ghost Hunters and another new one and it drives me nuts. I guess she likes to be lied to. Lol.

Lots of chicks seem to be into ghosts. I have dated a lot of ladies and when I asked them what they believe more, ghosts or aliens the vast majority leaned towards ghosts. When asked which is scarier, being abducted by aliens or encountering a spirit from beyond it was usually the spirit encounter. Now granted, it might be as simple as me being attracted to a particular type of girl but I found the consistency uncanny nonetheless. For me the scariest thing would be an abduction.
