I'll glue another photo to it. If she likes stick figures, I can handle the task.

Here's a look at my other promo card which I'll have available Thursday and Friday. This 4" x 9" card is my ode to the fan favorites: 501st, Rebel Legion, Slave Leias, R2 builders and fans passing on the love to their kids.

There are now only two days left to pre-order at Star Wars CVI Orders | Dark Ink And there are dozens of folks who have pre-ordered who haven't requested edition numbers. If you have a number you'd like, please email me at info@lifeinplastics.com with your Acme receipt number and I'll confirm your request.

Also at the convention will be promo cards for ZombiCon 2012. I just finished the poster art for their "Galactic Infection" promotions. The card will feature the image below with text at the top and bottom. The walls were furnished by customizer Dayton Allen (aka Sith_Fire30) from his Alien '79 series. I thought the walls were perfect for the space zombie theme. Thanks, Dayton.

    Thanks,
    Stephen

Just a few days away from CVI! I've been reflecting on the last party. Here's a few images I did for LFL leading up to CV:

And this one was only seen in a hidden link for the "Star Wars Speed Dating" story. That's kind of the digital version of a brown wrapper around a smutty magazine.

See you in a few days!

"where nerds fall in love" isn't that insulting to SW fans?

I had my reservations at first thinking the same thing. But the request to me was that we use "nerd" to take ownership of the word. The same way "geek" has become "chic." (My original tag used "fans.")

"Where nerds fall in love" has a patronizing tone to it. Now if you had said "where geeks fall in love", there is a certain charm to that.

While i do like geek better (i think i just love the word). i think geek or nerd work fine. I see myself as both a geek and nerd and i think thats a good thing. LOL. Dont we all call ourselves geeks and nerds. fanboys? fangirls.. the list goes on.

Stephen, it was great meeting you (I was the one from the 501st who brought you the VIP bash ticket)! Hope the show went good for you - after a couple other members saw my print, they swung by to get them from you too!

Thank you, Leia! That was fantastic.

The whole experience was amazing. Thank you so much to all the folks who stopped by to buy a print or talk. I finished the day with only 24 prints left. I was ecstatic. But I was even more excited and touched by the great fan response. The interactions with folks from all over the world is what is going to stay with me forever. Thank you. It was a great event.
