"..I should have aimed for your neck instead..." Guess this is how Maul will meet his ultimate demise.

Season 4 put a lot in play. Maul, the clone units on Umbara and their rebelling against a jedi, anakin and his distrust of the jedi council. Bring on Season 5!!! With all of Maul's talk of Revenge and some of his clever little one liners, I was so waiting for "revenge is a dish best served cold...." So now the Star Wars universe has it's version of Khan. :p


Its just sucks that the big old RESET button is coming with Episode 3 "Revenge of the Sith". I really hope they find a way to weave the threads into Sith by taking the series through those events. I hated when they would pull out the RESET button on the modern Star Trek series.

I loved how Maul taunted Obi-Wan with the death of Qui-Gonn. It surprised me too to see him somewhat cut loose after that.

Savage is right, everyone will be going after them. The Jedi, the Sith, the Seperatists. It also seems Maul knows a lot of Sidious's plan since he mentioned the Clone Wars starting without him and he won't be too thrilled if that information falls into the hands of the Jedi. I am going to guess Palpatine will demand Anakin take care of the problem. Somewhere in the mix Ahsoka gets killed, and Anakin takes a giant leap toward the dark side. We saw how he reacted to her death in the Mortis trilogy.

and uses Maul to do it. I think Maul is going down at Anakin's hands either with Obi-wan's help or not. One thing about Star Wars there has been a symmetry between the PT and OT. Anakin made the wrong decision ala cutting Dooku's head off, where Luke put down his saber in the confrontation with Palpatine. I think we will see a similar situation but since Maul is around they will use the battle on Naboo as the pivot point for Anakin. The last battle will be the same dynamic. Maul vs xxxx, and Anakin is trapped and can not join the battle to save xxx. When finally freed Anakin will go all out, like Obi-wan did. Although "all out" for Anakin will be a bad thing because he will use dark side powers. I just think with the team bringing Maul back the stakes involved to get rid of him have to be high. I think story wise there has to be a "payment" made by one of our characters to get rid of him. If Ahsoka has to go, for the sake of the story, I would rather have her death mean something to the characters that can't be touched and have an impact on the story overall, which is Anakin's decent into the darkness. Of course Ahsoka can come back in another series post Jedi, where Luke finds her as a hermit somewhere. :p I would really love to see a series like Clone Wars done for the original trilogy characters.

Also if it comes down to Ahsoka and Anakin vs. Maul and Ahsoka gets killed, it better be one of the most intense saber fights we ever see. I don't want her going out like a punk, like RDM did to Kirk getting shot in the back and falling off a freaking bridge.


Another idea...It would be sort of interesting if they used "escape the death star" as the template for the battle, where Ahsoka fights off Maul, but Anakin won't leave without her.....

agreed! this has to be Ahsokas end, one way or another. Sounds way better than she disagreed with the jedi order and just went away! Anankin sees Maul kill Ahsoka and right before he gets Obi he gets all darkside and cleans house! but no one sees it but Maul, keeping it a secret til end of ROTS...
there needs to be a Fanboys 2 where they go steal all the clone wars scripts and we see how it ends.. haha

Very cool episode. I wasn't sure on Maul's return, but he did not disappoint. He was all fury and rage, just like he was in Episode 1. Only complaint.. it was too short! I want more!

I can't wait to see where this goes in Season 5.
