Bud, you want me to say something constructive when you constructive is to say that Hasbro has failed miserably? If that is the case then why are we still here in these forums getting excited or disappointed (depending on your view) of the most recent SDCC? If they failed then why are they still putting out figures year after year and even when you talk to them they are talking about things to come years down the road? That is not failure. Just because you don't agree with the way they do business doesn't make it a failure. Hasbro last year had an increase in boys toys sales, while board games/girl toys/preschool toys have been losing money. Star Wars has always been Hasbro's main money maker in boys toys. So you say Hasbro is failing, how do you figure that???
As for only doing this only online because it's not face to face. I would still say the same face to face. I haven't said anything I have to hide from....

Refering to that post, its nice to finally read one of your posts without you feeling the need to try and belittle other people. We finally have progess......... At first I didn't mind Vintage going away, but now that we've seen the best they could come up with I want it back now.

I mean, crappy figure choices, packaging that is so boring I won't even want to touch it on the pegs, it's called The Legacy Collection again...

I mean, ugh... A line can last more than two years, don't have to refresh it every time.

I absolutely agree with you GarvenDreis, this was the strongest line of Star Wars offerings and it stinks to see it leave for now, but it gives me hope that it will return someday.

If they let Vintage keep going, then in a couple more years you would have others complaining they still have Vintage. Either way people are going to complain. I love how you do say that the character choice is simply because of the change from Vintage. You would be complaining about that wave even if it was on Vintage. As for the packaging, with build a droid the packaging shouldn't really matter because the point is to open the figure and get the figure and the droid part.

You are getting Vintage back in a couple years, why can't you just be happy it will be coming back. Save your money for a couple years then if you don't like the BAD idea

To Krayt: the job of some people is to just ridicule others on the internet because you dont have face to face contact and it is easy to hide behind a keyboard and write stupid stuff over stupid stuff. Some people just like to chime in and start a fire and then get all insulted when other responds they just keep on putting more gasoline over the fire. --Sales for Vintage are down because retailors aren't ordering anything new.
--CW sales are down because retailors aren't ordering anything new.
--And MH sales were never up, so they only went further down...because retailors aren't ordering anything new.

And this is all because Wave 10 was overshipped, they made awful choices for CW Wave 1, and those figures are sittting while retailors wait for MH to sell before they order anything new.

Again, Nail firmly hit on head. What Hasbro haven't seemed to grasp is sales are down, because nothing new is getting on the shelves for people to buy. If the product was there, people would buy it. Its very very hard to buy something that isn't there. I can't believe one of the fan sites, haven't thrown is directly as Hasbro.............

I said people would be complaining there is still Vintage. I never said those that want Vintage would be complaining, I simply said people would be complaining there is still Vintage... What is so wrong with that statement? People are complaining this year that we still have Vintage...

I never said what people's opinion is going to be... I am simply going by how some feel now, what would happen if there was still Vintage two years from now is those voices would be even louder.

First off Krayt; I never said anything about not likingthe BAD stuff, I personally don't care whether that line is continued or not,I'm not talking trash about the line at all. Secondly I was simply agreeingwith GarvenDreis about the vintage line returning at some point because TVC hasbeen one of my favorite lines to collect and I hate to see it leave FOR NOW,but know it will be back soon. Thirdly, this is a thread devoted to Saving TVC,so I see nothing wrong with me posting a message that talks about how I likeand want the TVC to return some day. Don't lashout at people because your upsetor bitter about something, I haven't attacked you over BAD.
