John Barry

I hope you won't mind if I half obscure one or two of the signatures, including the John Barry, as it is a very rare piece and I don't want to see a "Long lost John Barry signature 100% genuine" on eBay in a couple of weeks. Not from you guys - but this is a public forum and I feel that I want to be 'protective' of this very special piece.

I am curious now as to what you have that can be so rare that you need to obscure signatures. I don't think you need to fear that someone will forge a John Barry signature any time soon. If someone wanted to there are hundreds of exapmles, like James said on his artwork, and not a one has shown up that I know of. I can't think of anyone tearing up the earth looking for Barry like they do Purvis or Bryne or the likes and those get shown on here quite often. If a genuine one showed up on ebay I can't see it pulling very much. Reguardless my interest is peaked. Blurred or not throw it up so we can admire it.

A letterhead that was inside the book, together with a photo of Mark Hamill that was also inside it (holding copy number one I guess), that most of you will recognise from the Official Pix black & white section. This photo is an original on a very 'dull' photographic paper stock, and finally the book itself.


A nice 'provenance' book plate signed by Gary Kurtz explaining that this is book number 2 of 2 signed copies.

Yep, that's a 10 for sure. As good as it gets. The Kurtz COA and photo of hamill just put this on an ultra elite level. Nice score indeed!
