DS Detention Block (WIP and done!)

I've been so busy with school and haven't been here in awhile. Seeing Greg working on something makes me miss it. Can't wait to see it finished.

Thanks for the comments, guys, and sorry for the long delay in updates! I made three wall pieces with arch-shapes traced and cut out, and carefully cut some foamie trim for each wall, a piece of which is shown below:



Then I made 4 of the black wall sensor things, using a gem shape, little beads, and a piece of wire connector:



I painted the walls the same color as the arches, then spraypainted the sensors a gloss black, and finally hot-glued it all together:





The hallway playset in the back will be raised a little just like on the set, but for this pic I kept it level. I'm going to work on the hallway next, then tackle the console.

With the kenner prison cell pieces straight in the back, this is going to be pretty deep. Where are you going to put the thing? It looks great, I'm sure you already had a spot measured, just wondering.

I actually will only have 1 playset depth, because my second one I used to enclose the wall on the left side of the playset. Since it only had a side wall and an arch entrance, I flipped my second one upside down to create the other wall (so that it makes the proper tunnel it should be). All in all, it isn't too deep

Wow, I love the look of this one so far. Making all those small wall pieces would terrify me.
