I'm not for or against the figure. All I know is that $24.99 is a lot of change for a grumpy librarian.

Uhh...because she's an old lady librarian?

Just wait til next year where 2013 will see an exclusive Ackmena figure offered complete with bar section and drunk alien patron. And collectors will clamor over it in the same way they did over this old bitty.
I have binders full of astromechs.

Someone has to be the librarian, the waitress or ice cream maker. I find it hard to believe that everyone in the cantina was a bounty hunter. Don't plumbers and carpenters need to unwind once in a while too? At least Jocasta was a Jedi. For all we know, she had mad skills like Yoda.

Speaking of certain people dropping in threads where they don't want a character, there are a couple of them now!!!
Funny you talk about them without mentioning their names and they magically show up. Why am I not surprised.

25 does seem to be a steep amount for a figure but it's that or nothing. Plus you get the cool Dooku head, something that has never been offered before, it comes in a cool box, you get a holocron under Dooku's head... Also, remember that this was going to be a C6 exclusive so it wasn't going to be figure price anyways. So 25 doesn't seem that far off

Yeah, I remember paying a hefty price for the McQuarrie concept C-3PO & R2-D2 and Luke Skywalker figures at CIV. And this figure is more well worth it to me since she's actually in the films.

Mine was 20$. Plus, you know, a trip to CIV. Not gonna lie, that was a couple grand. With what this figure would've gone for online after CVI, many of us may have actually SAVED money by getting her via BT instead of another route.

I'm not trying to shove her down someones throat, but she has as much right to be made as any other character.

What I don't understand are the people who aren't interested in said figure, seem to find the time to come in and chime in on how much they hate it.
Or feel the need to, If I'm not a fan of that figure I tend to avoid the tread altogether.

I can make better use of that time instead of starting a feud over something I don't even want.

Generally if it's a new figure I'm in, especially if it's backgrounder oriented such as Arena Jedi, Cantina Patron, Palace Denizens, Skiff Goons etc.
I don't have any problem with her being made. My issue is the people complaining so much about her being an exclusive. For the people who want her great, they can get her. But they have to be realistic about her. There was no way she was ever going to come out as a regular retail release figure. Hasbro has been pretty dumb about a lot of things, but even they know she would have been an instant peg warmer. Not much more than the hardcore completists would get her and a good amount of them buy by the case so even they wouldn't be getting her at retail.
Note to Hasbro:We can't buy it if we can't find it.
    ISO: Lego LOTR Merry minifig.

That's pure speculation... You have nothing to back up what you are saying.
Yes it would be a pegwarming if they made as many of her as they did Yarna but we all know that wouldn't happen. So to say she is guaranteed to pegwarm is you guessing because it's what you want to believe.
