Well, I love the EVO/TLC/TVC sculpt anyways. A lot of folks prefer the VOTC version but I feel he's too stocky. The only real drawback to this newer one is the head-hugging helmet. I've taken VOTC heads and fit them to the TVC body as well as repainting the 'Apartment' Jango helmet and adding shims to the side to give it more flair.

But even those things have their drawbacks. The VOTC helmet seems a little off even though it's the best, and this new head looks like the best they've done yet, 300th Fett being a close second.

One suggestion to Vaz and Jrog though... you gotta put some battle damage on those helmets! The stock paint job is way too clean! Check out some of Evergrey's stuff in the customs forum, his work looks like tiny firckin' prop replicas!

I think the helmet looks a little too big on the Vintage Boba Fett figure...almost bordering on bobble-headish. Otherwise, nice job!

Maybe, but when comparing it to the actual helmet in the movie, I think it's a little more accurate!

I've always known SL was for kids, and even TVC to a point takes them into consideration.
That doesn't explain why the same old stuff consistently hang on the pegs, and they continue to re-release the same subjects over and over.
Plus issue them into TVC/TLC etc.! Oh and what is TCW geared towards then? Kids again, so you can't tell me they're not covered.
Meanwhile the one who actually spend insane amounts of cash cannot find a squat.

I'm happy they, you, and anyone else believes that lass articulation is better, and if that's the path they plan on taking it just wont be a future with me involved.

After 2013 I think I'm finally done, if no Jocasta, Sarrissa and I see a severe cut in SA then I'll have to call it quits.
I don't collect these for them to stay in a fixed position inside a card.

Plus the term "Action Figure" should really mean that, and I was just at a happy place with SA and sculpt the last 3 years.
So for it to come to an end, it seems like a fitting time for me to hang it up as well.

I've been seriously contemplating it this past year anyways, so after weighing all the factors it might be time if next year doesn't pan out the way I'm hoping.
Looking for: MU Angel(Blue), Nova, and Daredevil(from comic),

It's my feeling that the only people excited about this are vintage collectors. Everyone who supports these seems to do it for some nostalgic reason.

That being said, how many of those kinds of folks are there out there? Enough so that this set won't shelf warm? Don't think so.

Increased articulation is basically the main factor that got me back into Star Wars figures. A cutback like this will definitely get me back out.

I really like these figures. I've never been a zealot for articulation. I grew up with figures that had little to no articulation and honestly as a kid figures with more POA became more of a hassle to play with anyway.

As I get older I appreciate the added articulation in modern figures but it's not a must have for me. In some cases all this extra POA takes away from the sculpts (which is more important to me).

I think this battle pack will prove that there's just no pleasing everyone in this hobby. I think most people will take the Fett head and swap it to an EVO body but with Luke, it seems like there are a lot of people who will keep him as is. It's interesting, the same people wanting to put this superior head on their SA Fett are perfectly content to keep the low articulated Luke standing right next to him.

Right, that's because Luke's sculpt is good and Fett's sculpt is not so good! Vintage collection Fett's sculpt is more in proportion with the other figures, pretty simple really!
