i dont mind a few ads, but if they pop up every page, kinda gets annoying, its cool how it is now.
Never really noticed any advertisements except for one here and there, just remember they help cover the cost of running the website which isn't free might I add. So click on a link every now and again
Amazon is a click through program. Rebelscum gets paid a small percentage if enough people click the link and buy. They aren't paying to be on the site.
I'm using tablets and other mobile devices so when i click on a thread I'm almost always directed to amazon
