This season has had the strongest stories so far, even if you don't like four part arcs instead of three that still leaves you with a lot of good episodes.
Compared to season one and two this show has matured quite a lot. If you don't like it then please don't watch. Yes you can argue that there are episodes in this season that are not as strong as others but to claim this as a flat and boring season shows a lack of perspective, I fell as if you just evaluated its entire worth based on the pop tart you ate as you caught the last three minutes of the last episode.

Feel free to defend all the new tech that was introduced and dissuade the deus ex machina theory.
I'm willing to hear an another opinion. "Then don't watch it" doesn't carry much water and comes-off more as an apologist's weak defense these days.
I agree the animation has progressively gotten better each year.
Are you attempting to say that this season has surpased the 2nd-half of Season 3?
Which had memorable 3-part arcs (not wasteful 4-part arcs) such as Mortis Trilogy, Night Sisters Trilogy, Citadel Trilogy & the efficient Wookie Dualogy?
If you're of the opinion that the 4-part Krell & Assassination Plot arcs & the 3-part Mon Calamari & Slaver arcs are in that same league in terms of quality writing & story-telling, then we'll just have to agree to disagree.
I stand by what I wrote in my last post.
"Only now, at the end, do you understand."
I am also finding the 4 part arcs work the best when you watch them as 1 episode in one sitting. I hope they provide this option when the blu rays are released.

No sir you are wrong. The Maul Arc is only a two-parter with possibly a cliff hanger ending.
The remaining Season 4 Episodes now that the Obi-Wan spy arc is done are....
•Ep 19 - Massacre - Count Dooku seeks revenge for his betrayal at the hands of Asajj Ventress and the Nightsisters.
•Ep 20 - Bounty - No synopsis has been given yet. I suspect this will be the episode that features Dengar who has been confirmed by Dave to appear this season.
•Ep 21 - Brothers - No synopsis has been given yet but it is well known that this and the next episode will feature Maul and his bro..
•Ep 22 - Revenge - No synopsis has been given yet but it is known to be the 2nd part of The Maul / Savage arc.

Yep, that Engehast.
If EW.com has it wrong, then I stand corrected on that very minor detail. You either missed the gist of my post entirely or have just chosen to ignore it.
'Star Wars: The Clone Wars': Darth Maul | Inside TV | EW.com
Excerpt:
"When Maul makes his return on the March finale, it'll be at the end of an epic four-episode arc that's going to tie up a bunch of The Clone Wars' loose ends. So get caught up by reading all of our weekly recaps, and share your theories with other fans during EW's Live Chat of each episode every Friday night. Tonight at 7:40 p.m. ET, Maul's nemesis himself, Obi-Wan Kenobi (a.k.a. actor James Arnold Taylor), will be joining us to chat live with you and take your questions."
Whatever the case may be with the last 4 episodes, it doesn't change one iota about my argument and point-of-view in the least; Season 4 has been a letdown. Period.
Not much of a "gotcha Pickles" moment, either. You'll have to try harder than that, goose.
"No sir you are wrong." LMAO. I do my homework, check my facts, & don't generally make it a habit to dog something out just for the sake of it. I'm not a PT or EU hater nor an OT snob by a long shot. I don't even care if Han shot first or not. But if I feel something is lacking and of lesser quality, I'll state my opinion on it. Still a free country, right?
Clearly you do not agree, but at the same time don't seem to wanna build a case to support your particular point-of-view. So I have no choice but to suggest with the immortal words of Obi-Wan Kenobi to please just, "move along."
"Only now, at the end, do you understand."
I can find consensus on this and agree they do work better watching them this way. In fact, I find a lot of tv shows in general work better this way--with the exception of comedies, IMO.
Besides my opinion that I don't think the quality of Season 4 has been up to par, I wouldn't have so much of a problem with 4-episode arcs, if they weren't taking the place of other stories that could be told. There are only 22 slots per season. If the Krell & Assassination Plot arcs were each trimmed by 1 episode for example, then we'd either be getting 2 more stand alone stories or 1 more extended one......and I'm all for more Clone Wars. Correction; Good Clone Wars, that is.

whoa...sensitive much?
Sorry i did not intend to tickle your pickle.
I personally don't feel let down at all with Season 4. The Umbara and Slaver Arc alone are both among some of the best Clone Wars so far in my book.
BTW...you were wrong about the 4 part thing.
Yep, that Engehast.
Anakin had a great line in this episode "You should have quit while you were still alive Dooku" :p

This felt almost like it could have led into ROTS! I was loving it; the tension, the action, Palpatine's slimy smiles when Dooku and Anakin were fighting it out... and the first part of the episode had a great "Caper film" quality.
I also have to say that this does have moments where it seems like a live-action series. The animation just keeps getting better. I am really amped up for the rest of the season!
