Need help figuring Value Boba Fett 21 Back Postal Damage

Hi! I was hoping someone could give me a recommendation. I bought a Boba Fett 21 Back that was going to AFA a 75 (75 80 80) and the figure bubble extends beyond the card slightly. Good ol' post office handled terribly and the bubble now has a 1/4" crack in the footer. The seller will take back but dunno if it's worth keeping. I've tried for a quite a while to find a decent fett for under $1500 and thought this might be it. Post office doesn't look like they'll cover the damage...

Any help appreciated...The card was expected to have the creases, but no bubble crack... I've been told AFA would give a 70 automatically...
    Any idea of current value?

I can resubmit a claim if I can establish actual value vs. amount paid...

I'd say it's a keeper. It really doesn't look that bad IMHO.

    I'd say $800-$1000 is a realistic range.

Definitely worth keeping IMO. The crack isn't terrible and it's on the bottom of the bubble stem, so it's hardly noticeable. It displays damn nice too!

Not sure on value, but I'd definitely keep it if it were me.

i'm not sure if this fett would get an afa 75 or 70 based on my experience. is your crack "L" or "V" shaped? i can't tell exactly in your pics.

i have an afa 70 VC Jawa. it's sub-grades are (c80-b70-f90). the bubble has the smallest of small cracks (hence the b70) in the extended bubble. the crack is not even an 1/8th of an inch, a straight line, and is even hard to see. i've heard the afa graders are more strict on bubbles and card edges than other aspects.
