What paper and/or printing service do you all use?

I have a couple photos I want to print to get signatures on, but I was wondering- do you all use regular home printers and, if so, what kind of paper is best? If not, is there a company you all use to print photos that can't be purchased?

    Thanks so much!

    Costco!

The couple that I go to in the Chicagoland area are amazing!

*** TIP - If you plan on taking images off of google to print out (which is technically a violation of copyright laws, but everyone seems to do it)... if you can find an image file that is larger than 1 MB... it will usually print out to at least an 11x14 or 16x20 without loosing too much quality. Images that are smaller that 500 kb in size will look horrible... 600-900 kb range will look fine in an 8x10, but may start to loose quality the bigger you make the photo.

Many places will not print photos for you if they look like they were taken off of the internet. They will ask you for a copyright release letter from the photographer or publishing company.

I use Adorama.com since I'm not a member at Costco. They have sales every so often & you can get 8x10's for $.99. They have 16x20's for $6 now. I've gotten both Lustre & Metallic. They look great.

when i get photos, i try to only get OPX shots. Im not a huge fan of the metal look on newer ones, but overall the quality is really there.

Me too James- I love OPX shots. Unfortunately, I can't find an OPX shot of the original scene when Revill did the emps voice and I am assuming one is not in the works.

I google large images for whatever I want and just do Walmart online. They do a good job, relatively cheap, and I've never had them hassle me about anything that was copyrighted.
