What are your favorite Terminator Salvation action figures?

Whether the're the smaller size or the 6 inch versions. What Terminator Salvation figures do you like the most?

I like the 6 inch T-600 since it has an alternate head.

then the T-700 exoskeletons. Just wish their mouths were closed. Why did Playmates even make the heads to have the mouths open anyway?

also which do you prefer? the regular silver colored T-700s or the black colored T-700s?

Well none of them really hit the mark for me sculpt or quality wise, bit I did like using Marcus for customs.

Sadly SW YVH-1 looked the part of the Terminator better that what Mattel put out!

I actually quite liked this line! Admittedly, It wasn't perfect, but it was one of the few lines I got really excited about, during the year the movie came out.

Of my Terminator Salvation collection, my favourites were:

    1) The Deluxe Harvester - this was an awesome large scale toy! So glad I picked this up from Forbidden Planet, before it became a deleted/cancelled item. Probably the high-point of this collection, IMO.

    2) The T-600 - it looks big, clunky and evolutionary two steps (or more) behind the T-800s - and it's alternate head makes a nice addition to this toy. Glad I picked this up!

    3) The Hunter Killer - great looking design - fun and scary looking, with it's dark paintjob and it's Gothic-angular sensibilities!

    4) The T-1 - another unique design along the Terminators' design evolution. Worth picking up as well.

    5) The A-10 Warthog vehicle - drastically under-scaled, but a fun vehicle nonetheless. Comes with a nice Blair pilot figure. Overall - a good action vehicle and figure, and a nice opposition vehicle to go up against the Hunter Killer with.

    6) John Connor - all facial likeness rights aside, I love this figure! It kinda represents a JC in full battle-armoured-type figure. I liked this figure sooooo much, I picked up two!

    7) Marcus Wright - a good addition to go with JC.

Okay - I realise I just listed most of my collection, but that's okay! I love all these figures equally for different reasons. They may vary in accuracy/sculpt/paint-job, etc... but they all make up valuable parts of my overall Terminator collections (from across all the movies).

Overall - I'm kinda sad Playmates didn't produce more figures/vehicles in this line. One thing I did to fill a gap: I custom-made a Kyle Reese figure using the Playmates Ensign Chekov Trek figure (as he was played by the same actor, Anton Yelchin).

PS: if you want to see some of my collection, type in 'Harvester' in the Members Gallery listings, and see what I've uploaded.

Also - to answer the question posed: I prefer the burnt coloured T-700 (as Neca do an awesome T-800 Endoskeleton already, so a slightly different variation by Playmates keeps these lines varied, IMO).

I picked up a few smaller Terminators at the time but ended up returning them since they looked horrible. The only Terminator I kept was that Terminator (T-1?) that had the machine gun arms and similar to the one used in T3.

Well you do realize that the Terminator 2 action figures the T-800s their mouths were open too but it wasnt a big deal for me.

I'd still buy a couple of the Terminator Salvation Terminators and army build a little bit

I dunno, I really dig the NECA line and this one was pass city for me. I really wish NECA could get the TS license. I'd dig a few 7" figs.

What was the deal with that John Connor? Could they not sculpt Bale's face right or was he being a jerk about his likeness?
    Things I need :
TVC Nom Anor and Wedge Antilles/ TLC Malakili

The NECA terminators are the only ones I've ever liked in the smaller scale. I also have the Hot Toys T2 figures. I would gladly buy a Marcus or a T-600 if NECA did them, but the movie line was bad
OR PERHAPS HE'S WONDERING WHY SOMEONE WOULD SHOOT A MAN BEFORE THROWING HIM OUT OF A PLANE?

From what I remember there was some likeness issue with Bale. I thought I remembered there being promo pics for a wave where they had the likeness thing resolved and it was a Bale portati, but that was around the time the line tanked.

I wanted to support the line, since the movie was pretty decent, but the figures were so bad. Playmates tried really hard with Terminator and Star Trek, but they just got overwhelmed with a line of those sizes and out-classed with human sculpts. All of those years working on cartoon Turtles didn't help.

If the T-600s weren't so damn bigger than the T-700s, everyone would be putting the non flesh alternate head of theT-600 onto the T-700s.

Why did Playmates have two color versions for the T-700s anyway? I dont mind the burnt/black colored T-700s but they look more like they were from a scene where they were walking around at night time or something. That or some stupid gimmick where they're stealth T-700s
