That's a cool poster. The blueprint is based upon the Cross-section book which isn't entirely movie accurate. Plus they've missed some characters. But that's given me an idea of updating my Blueprint/layout section with those thumbnail pictures instead of text. I'm currently working on updating the Ultimate Cantina Resource Page which will be called Jason's Cantina Resource Page. Hope to have it done by the end of summer.

I love this, I'm planning out a Cantina to make for my son, it seems so hard, but when you break down the parts, it actually doesn't look too hard. What'd you make the bar out of? I might just use the Hasbro one for ease, but I like the way yours looks. Thanks for those first images, it'll really help with my planning. Can you give me the dimensions of the base? I'll prob go the MDF base too and then just use foam for the walls and cover them.
I'd love to see some pictures of these with some smoke bombs thrown in for a sec to give it a smoke look and then some pics captured of some of the famous shots form the movie, with your lighting, I really think they'd look awesome.

Thanks! The MDF base that it's sitting on is 26" wide and 19 1/2" long. The bar is made from the same materials that Daigo Bah used for his. The top surface and the sides are foam core, with the curved section being a piece of posterboard. The grey "bumper" is part of a cheap extension cord that i cut up and repainted. I planned on using the hasbro bar at first before I drew up the plans for this set, but it is so inaccurate that I decided to just make it from scratch based on what others on this forum had done.
Amazing work!! Love the use of the cross-stitch guide material for the floor. My wife has tons of this stuff lying around, so I use it for all manner of deckplates, wall grilles and other detailing.
SNEEBU'S STAR WARS CUSTOMS
It amazes me how the members of this forum produce some truly superior dioramas, and I truly wonder whether either the toy-makers or the filmmakers quite realize the quality and detail of the scenes I see here. This is clearly another example of a piece that belongs in a display. For all the art galleries out there, I wonder whether New York or LA could support a gallery where people would pay modest admission to view such dioramas. This one clearly would belong in it.

This entire project is both astounding and inspiring! I'm impressed with how many different techniques/materials you've used here, especially the table lights (LED's) and wall stucco/paint applique. That, by far, creates the atmosphere you were aiming for.
And the most recent spacer looks right at home here! The dio makes him look fantastic!
