An update on the rest of the movie figures

Bad news to those of you looking to domestically complete your Dark of the Moon figure collection. Seibertron and El Duque had a chance to speak with the Hasbro Transformers Brand Team this morning and from that meeting they bring news that there are no plans to release DOTM Que, Soundwave (both deluxe and Human Alliance) and Target-release Leadfoot at this time. The main reasons for this is what befalls many toy lines as they come to a close - retailers show more interest in the next line than they do in continuing the existing line.

There is apparently some interest within Hasbro to bring blind-packaged Minicons to the US, but there are no solid plans at this point.

It looks like to me that this year is going to really suck for new Transformers. I am glad that I got all the first editions since the RID ones are not good molds and look cheap. Nothing that new that I am interested in other than a few of the new Cybertron deluxes. Other than that, I maybe buying 3rd party formers this year and sticking to them. Gives me reason to save money for new Star Wars props and Sideshow future figures.

LOL at Jazz's 6 wheels in robot mode (wheels in feet are fake).

Aside from voyager Megs and Shockwave I didn't jump into the DotM line. Deluxe Soundwave, Leadfoot, Wheeljack and Dino were the only figures I was going to grab but I guess thats not happening now unless they somehow turn up at Ross, Marshalls, etc.

A bit of a shame we are not getting DOTM Soundwave, Leadfoot and Que but I'm sure they will turn up in some form. Most Asian TF online stores should stock them and all are quite cheap for the most part so just keep your eyes peeled.

I don't know why Hasbro couldn't get repack them in the catch-all RID line.
