If you are across the country I understand. I will never bother to go to FL for Celebrations. When it was hear in CA, I was bored and it was a mess. I'm only 125 miles from SD, so it's no big deal for me.

I'm all the way over in NY. I guess if I start driving now, I'll make it there in time for July.

Super hard. Last year on the day they went on sale on line. I was on my computer for hours and hours trying to get in to buy tickets and got nothing. The website, Ticketleap I think, was so overwhelmed it couldnt handle it. Plenty of people were able to get tickets that way, but it was more luck than anything.

Nowadays most people buy their tickets for the next years convention during the current convention, but that line is insanely long now too.

I keep reading their facebook page and there are a few hundred posts about tickets each day. Each day!!!

So basically I will have to find some help in getting tickets for 2013 if I want to go. Does not sound like I would be able to get tickets for this year. Well I made a profile so I would be able to least try to get them. I should really just start thinking about going next year. I have seen a few of these tickets go on ebay, OUCH!

That's crazy. Seems like it's a hassle just to get into the Con, never mind walk around it.

It has definitely gotten way out of control the last five years or so.

You have as good of a chance to get tickets this year as you will next year. I bought mine for 2012 on site at the 2011 con. But they limited the amount sold, so there are more for the online sale coming up. In previous years, they did not do this, and in 2010 they sold out all the 4 day with preview night for 2011 at the onsite sale. That means there are alot more tickets for the 2012 online sale than there was for the 2011 online sale. Just go to the site and get your ID ASAP. You don't want to be doing it the day before or the day of the online sale. I think with this new system of having people get an ID ahead of time is really going to smooth out the process. The ones who will be mad will be those who didn't realize they needed to get an ID ahead of time. It's not hard to do, just go to the site. I live in San Diego and have been to 10 in a row.
