Northern Indiana Finds

Took a very long drive today to do some hunting. Started in Plymouth Indiana (1 walmart, 1 kmart), then to Warsaw Indiana (1 walmart), Columbia City Indiana (1 walmart), Fort Wayne Indiana (2 walmarts, 2 targets, 2 meijers, 1 tru), Auburn Indiana (1 walmart), Angola Indiana (1 walmart, 1 meijer), Sturgis Michigan (1 walmart), Elkhart Indiana (2 walmarts), Mishawaka Indiana (1 walmart)...............came home EMPTY!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is after going to Merrirriville (1 walmart, 3 targets, 2 meijer), Portage (1 walmart), Michigan City (1 walmart, 1 meijer)& Vaparasio (1 target, 1 walmart) Indiana last weekend.

Looks like I'll be ordering some cases and waiting for the Vintage Line to be over so I can stop the insanity. I give up on action figures....I'll go back to buying high end collectables that I can at least get.

I talked to the girl stocking at Mishawaka Walmart about the lack of figures since February and she went and checked up on it. They have ONE case on order (only have 10 figs in the store and 7 empty pegs) but will not be getting it anytime soon because the warehouse does not have any cases to send. Personally, I think the store are in trouble, like someone had said before, and just don't want that word getting out of just how bad they are really hurting. Etailers.....here I come!

I was just having the same discussion with Ben today, I feel the same way you do. Once TVC ends so will me collecting hasbro, I'll just stick to Sideshow and Hot Toys. Maybe pick up a figure here or there but enough with hunting day in and day out when retail is a joke and Hasbro keeps screwing up. Why couldn't the DS wave and the Malgus wave be one wave?

after reading a lot of people scoring at target, I decided to hit it up on my lunc hour.......low and behold...NOTHING! LOLOL what was I thinking. I figured I would grab the Underworld Blu-Ray while I was there so it wouldn't be a complete waste....and gee they didn' thave those either! Where the Blu-Ray would be is a rain check?? The movie came out today!!! What a joke...unfortunently Wal-Mart got my $20.00 for the blu-ray which was completely FULL. No figs at Wal-Mart either, but I already knew that.

Just picked up Aayla, Evazan,Nom, and Kithaba at what I guess would be the Dunlap Walmart. Never been there before, just happened to be passing by for work.

My wife went to the Mishawaka WM and from the sounds of it they got this case in but only the more common carry forward figures were left: Star Wars Action Figures 2012 Vintage Wave 4 - Hasbro - Star Wars - Action Figures at Entertainment Earth

I was there Saturday and only found ONE new figure, the card was curved and bent a little but I got it anyway because who knows if I'll ever see ti again.

Mishawaka WalMart put out one case of the Dr. Evans wave late last night. Picked up four out of that but there was no Wedge or 501st. Felt really good finding something for a change

and I saw this case pop up on BBTS today: 2012 Vintage Star Wars Wave 04 - Case of 12 - Star Wars 2012 Star Wars 3.75" Vintage Figures

Any interest in splitting the case DarthOnyx? I am debating it myself, but part of me thinks I only really want the Vader, Leia, and Jar Jar... I will think about it a while. It is an interesting case pack assortment though. 2 of each figure, with one being on the SDCC exclusive style card and the other being Vintage. I wouldn't care which version I got if I were to do a split as I am an opener.

ever since I saw this I have been thinking about it. I wouldn't mind as long as they were still on the black vintage cards. Really do not like that blue crap at all. Thanks to you...I might be ordering other stuff from them in the future. It seems a lot less stressfull to just get a case anymore....can't wait till Vintage is done, my days of collecting 3 3/4" figs will be over!
