2011 Rebelscum Wishlist Poll - ROTJ Finals

    Please read carefully before voting
Welcome to the 2011 Rebelscum Wishlist Poll Finals! The important change is that you are NOW voting on a RELATIVE scale. And as a reminder, when voting, you are voting for that figure ONLY, not against, how much you want figures from other categories Unlike the nominations phase where you were simply voting that you wanted a figure, now you are voting on HOW MUCH you want that figure. This is very simple, and basically requires that you rate each of the finalists on a scale of 6 down to 1. A vote of six means that you REALLY want the figure and that it should be an immediate prioriy for Hasbro, and a 1 means that you probably wouldn't buy the figure even if it were released.

Take some time to review the rankings before voting - think through each subject carefully, and vote using the FULL scale:

6: Definite Buy! - This figure is one of your most wanted subjects. You would be out hunting as soon as it was released, and heck, would even consider paying a premium to get it from overseas, or from a similar early release vendor. It is a figure that, if you were planning the line, would get ranked ahead of 90% of the other potential releases. In a category of 20 choices, you really should only have 2-3 sixes.

5: Likely Buy - This figure is something that you really want to see released, but there are those few other releases that are ahead of this one. Don't hesitate to use this vote for something that you want more than most, or even more than average! You'd definitely look forward to adding this one to your collection, but probably would stick to your usual hunting patterns to find one.

4: Wanted - This is a figure that you want, that you would be happy to see released, but there are more than a few that you'd rather see first (the 5's and 6's). You'd keep an eye open for it, but perhaps wouldn't be so active in hunting it down. More of a "target of opportunity" when there wasn't anything else around that you wanted more.

3: Meh - Some would say not really wanted This is a figure that would be a just below average release for you, one that you might or might not purchase (50% of these releases you'd purchase, 50% you would not purchase) if it were to be released. No active hunting, but maybe when you see it, you buy it on an impulse. Everything in the 4-6 rankings would be higher on your wishlist.

2: Likely Pass - This is a figure that you really don't want to see released, but that you just might buy just to keep your collection complete. Maybe it would tempt you when you saw it in person, and it was better than you expected, or might buy it on clearance. It's one that you wouldn't be happy to see released and if you puchased it, you'd probably do so begrudgingly (10% of these releases you'd purchase, 90% you would not purchase).

1: Definite Pass - If you saw it on the shelf, it would be an EASY pass. Not only would you not want to see this figure released, you flat would not buy it, no ifs, ands or buts.

And if those don't make sense, just think of it this way, the more you want to see it released the HIGHER your vote should be (just like ranking the categories), think of a 6 as something that you're exhuberantly posting about when the announcement is made, and think of a 1 as something that you're bashing Hasbro over for being stupid - an average score of 3.5 is, well, just that, average, straight in the middle of the possible releases.

And even then, if that doesn't make any sense, just ask in this thread, and most anyone here will help you make sense of the process.

Oh and please make sure to rank EVERY choice even if you're not interested, make sure to vote for ALL the choices, it helps to keep the voting consistent.

400+ votes are required to complete the poll.

If you're not familiar with any of the choices, or why they MIGHT be good choices, and how fans would like to see them released (don't just assume the Hasbro Worst for each) - please review the next post as it has photos and a brief on each of the finalists, and what features we'd like to see included.

Are you sure you understand the scale and are ready to vote?

Re: 2011 Rebelscum Wishlist Poll - ROTJ Finals

Episode VI – Return of the Jedi
And finally, we come to the king of categories! For three years running ROTJ has been the category with the most interest. This year with the change in nominations, the results are even more skewed. Folks want ROTJ figures! Last year's excellent ROTJ wave should serve as a bench mark for years to come for how to formulate a winning wave. With an excellent mix of re-worked subjects, and then some needed all new subjects, there was something for everyone! Again, we have the largest pool of finalists - with 33! This category also continues to have a very deep list of nominees. In discussions on the boards, it's pretty clear that this is the category where most fans want to see the most concentration by Hasbro. There are three groups that make up this category - the first, are the POTF2 era re-works twelve out of 33 finalists qualify for this category - almost a third. The second group is the Skiff Guards and goons of Jabba's palace. After 11 years of waiting we finally re-cracked the Skiff Guard genre in 2009 with Nysad. 2010 brought us Wooof, and now for 2011, we've already seen the Weequay Skiffmaster and are going to see Kithaba in the next wave released. With this series of releases, interest in the skiff guard sub-genre has spiked, and several of the new finalists this year are other Skiff Guards or similar goons from the deck of the Sail Barge. Unlike the palace goons, the Skiff Guards are more action oriented, and generally make more interesting action figures. The final group are the Ewoks - these continue to capture everyone's interest, with the resurgence that started in 2006 with Chief Chirpa, every subsequent release has been a quick seller. We have another key release with Logray coming this year (hey, I haven't found one yet), but still several gaps left to fill. And yes, Hasbro, the Y-Wing pilot is still on the list. Nice try in the Endor multi-pack - but you're still not there yet.

A-Wing Pilot with X-Wing Helmet - New Finalist for 2011
Okay, this is what you guys get for voting generically. There were several votes for generic "unmade pilot," and since this one was about the most interesting one left (outside of the specifically voted Y-Wing pilot), this was the "unmade" pilot that made the list. Truly a blink-and-you-miss-him, this pilot walks past the camera during Han's conversation with Lando in the hangar of Home One. And the character is exactly what's described. It's a pilot in A-Wing gear, but wearing an X-Wing helmet. While it's pretty generic, it's at least an on-screen variation that we haven't seen before. This would make an easy-to-include re-paint for another "Battle of Endor" type of multi-pack. As always we prefer true on-screen variants vs. made-up repaints!

Barada - New Finalist for 2011
His fellow Klaatoonian Skiff Guard Kithaba is on the way for later this year, and in that release we receive HALF of the necessary vintage update. While the original vintage figure was largely based on Kithaba, many of the details for the vintage figure were from Barada (including the name). Barada has seen release before in, first in a POTF2 cinema scene, but then also in a 2006 TSC repaint. While the existing figure is 100% Barada, he is of POTF2 vintage, and by rule, is in serious need of upgrade (editor's rules anyway). With the popularity of Skiff Guard releases, it's easy to see Barada fitting in a future basic wave!

Bib Fortuna - New Finalist for 2011
Last released along side fellow finalist Barada in the premiere wave of TSC in 2006, Bib Fortuna was quite an upgrade over the previous POTF2 release. In scale and in detail with the modern line, the complaint on the 2006 Bib is now articulation, as he can do little more than flex his arms. With his complex multi-layer robes this one will be a challenge for Hasbro to do in truly super-articulated fashion, but at minimum, we know that the 2006 figure can be upgraded.

    Cane Adiss
This is the two-headed pilot from Jabba’s palace. With two heads and long necks resembling giraffes, it would certainly make a unique and large offering. Sources list Cane as 2.4 meters tall, which in the action figure world would be 5.25" tall! Unfortunately like many other "prop" characters, there’s no documentation for the body, or other limbs for Cane Adiss, but that was true for such excellent figures as Hem Dazon and Dice Ibegon as well, so we're confident that, as always, Hasbro is up to the challenge! While it may never be a basic figure, it would make a nice basis for a battle pack or similar larger release. Cane was a 2009 Fan's Choice Finalist!

    Emperor Palpatine
Here’s a figure that has seen many attempts over the years, but few have actually hit the mark – and in many ways the most recent is nowhere near as good as the original 1997 POTF2 release. So this one counts as one of the many POTF2 remake opportunities. This figure needs to really capture the decayed evil that is Palpatine in Episode VI, so a superior face sculpt is probably the most needed feature. The 2010 Senate Duel Sidious shows that a properly molded hood can look outstanding, so that is probably the best way to go with this figure. With a good use of properly fitting soft goods for the rest of the robe, this figure should be able to sit on his thrown and oversee the battle between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. Obviously the throne would make an excellent accessory – even if a second “deluxe” release is required. Few figures have had more fan attention in recent years than this one, largely due to the fact that there is the perception that Palpatine has been overlooked as a proper action figure, and always seems to be bridled with action features (in the PT line) or a bad sculpt for any OT release. Time for the DEFINITIVE release! The 2009 "Monkey Eyes" Palpatine was close, but just needs a ROTJ face sculpt and hood!

    EV-9D9
A figure that was addressed late in the vintage line as a 1985 POTF release, and then quickly re-addressed in the re-launch of the line in the early POTF2 days. Frankly there wasn't much difference between the two. With all the updates that have happened in the line since, it's time to update this one - one of the MANY POTF2 re-makes in this group. While this is an extremely tall and spindly droid, Hasbro has shown that they can do excellent work on this type of figure in the 2007 IG-88. Do that job on EV-9D9, and it would be a clear winner! Include some dungeon accessories, or the little console that the droid is sitting at, and it would be a complete release!

    Fozec
One of Jabba's many human thugs, Fozen is seen in the palace roughing up prisoners and generally keeping order. The EU back story for this character has him acting as an ISB agent spying on Jabba's underworld activities, hoping to find a way to escape Imperial service for a more lucrative career in the galactic underworld.

Geezum - New Finalist for 2011
A Snivvian scout for Jabba that can be briefly seen on the sail barge. This is one of the many thugs that would make an excellent backgrounder release - although arguably less important than the Skiff Guards from the same sequence. Snivvians were the only race, aside from the Wookiees that appeared in all three original trilogy films. The outfit for Geezum is fairly generic, and may be able to be fashioned out of existing toolings, with a new head, hands and then accessories (like his bandoliers) - so perhaps that gives Hasbro a route to release an "all new" backgrounder for a lower cost.

Klaatu - Guard Skiff - New Finalist for 2011
With the release of Wooof, this is the only remaining Klaatu (no, they're not green Niktos) to be released by Hasbro. Of course, there's still an upgrade needed (see Yotts Oren toward the end of the list), but let's focus on the last "all new" Klaatu first. Seen very briefly on the guard skiff, this Klaatu can be found in a number of production shots, such as the one that we've attached to this write-up. Like other Skiff Guards, this one would make an excellent action oriented release, but would require all new tooling. Interestingly enough, this subject is not without precedent, as this character was released in the vintage era as a porcelain statue!

Lando Calrissian - Skiff Guard - New Finalist for 2011
With the recent upgrade to Lando in his General's outfit, it's now time to address the 2004 release of Lando as a Skiff Guard. Like other late Saga 1 releases, the detail of the figure was excellent, and they had mercifully ended the pre-posed sculpts. However, this figure was released right at the end of the time before super-articulation was run of the mill. So while the 2004 version was articulated quite a bit more than the original POTF2 release, he still does not measure up to the current standard. With luck we'll be taking this one off the list quickly, as there is a "Sandstorm" Lando scheduled for release later this year. Once we learn more about that figure, we'll either close this subject out, or, we'll keep him going should the sandstorm version happen to be an accessory change on the 2004 version.

vintage Lumat, left, CCG Lumat, middle, Pipe Smoker, right
    Lumat & Ewok Pipe Smoker
The first pair of Ewoks in the finals! Lumat was a later vintage release in the 1984 line. While 2007's Graak was close in many respects to the CCG appearance of Lumat (middle), there has yet to be a modern equivalent of the vintage figure (left), and more importantly, there hasn't been a modern figure even named Lumat, so this one is the lone vintage gap filler for an Ewok - all the others have been covered. This year Lumat is teamed up with the pipe-smoking Ewok elder from the village sequence, this is an Ewok that would give an interesting visual contrast to the other Ewoks, and would look perfect in any village diorama, and as a "contrast" to one of the more "warrior" type releases that we've seen so far.

    Nien Nunb
Still another POTF2 era re-make! Lando’s co-pilot (not to be confused with the recently released Ten Nunb) is a figure sadly in need of an upgrade – our favorite Sullustian needs a properly scaled sculpt, improved detail and a big increase in articulation. Rebel Blaster, holster, and separate vest (molded like the better Han Solo figures) should be features for this figure. We have a new Falcon for him to fly around in, and a new Lando to pilot it, now we just need the copilot. We noted with some chagrin that this one seems to be off the radar now for Hasbro - and can't help but wonder if the 2009 "Nien Nunb" was considered the release for this figure. Unfortunately, naming continuity causes a problem here, as the B-Wing flight suited Sullustian at the briefing scene is NOT Nein Nunb, so while we've recently had a Nien Nunb release, it's NOT the Nein Nunb that fans are looking for. One only has to look at the success of the 2010 Ackbar and Gammorean Guard figures to understand why this one is needed, and will likely be as popular!

Princess Leia - Ewok Village - New Finalist for 2011
Another POTF2 era release that has now made it onto the wishlist radar. With the release of the 2009 "Slave" Leia, it was only a matter of time before another costume for the princess took her place. With two releases in the POTF2 time frame, first as a basic figure and second with soft goods in the "Princess Leia" collection. While both were excellent figures for the late 90s, they are sadly lacking by today's standards. Update these to the level of the Slave Leia, and it'll be a successful release, and a good way to fill a Leia slot when another new one comes around. Arguably there are other versions in greater need, but it's good to get this one on the radar.

    <s>Queequeg / Vintage Weequay</s>
    Confirmed for 2012 release!

R5 Unit - Rebel Briefing - New Finalist for 2011
Like the generic rebel pilot votes that pushed the A-Wing pilot above into the finals, there were a similar group of votes for unmade Astromechs, so those votes were applied to the highest vote getting Astromech for the category, while happened to be the maroon and gray trimmed R5 unit seen during the briefing on home one. While we don't know the specific designation for this droid, there are plenty of production photos that show this one from various angles. And like the rebel pilot above, we'd REALLY like to see more on-screen variants, instead of made-up variants that seem to crop up for Astromechs here and there. There are plenty of on-screen paint jobs that we haven't seen yet. This is one of many! Strangely, many seem to be R5 units - however, with the excellent toolings that are available, these are all repaints waiting to happen! Easy money Hasbro!

    Ree Yees
Still another POTF2 era re-make! In this case one of the later, and relatively scarce figures from that line. Like all the others discussed so far, improvements in detail, scale and articulation are badly needed. All one needs to do is look at the Ask Aak head from the 2005 Revenge of the Sith figure to see what can be done for a Gran (yes there are slight differences), and understand how much better a new Ree-Yees figure could be! A Blaster, and perhaps some drinking gear from one of the wild palace parties would be in order. After all Ree Yees, was a drunk's drunk!

    Royal Guard
Here’s a figure that we’ve seen many, many incarnations for over the years (including PT versions), but some fans believe that we’re still lacking the definitive release. While the ROTS version was excellent, it is not entirely accurate for the ROTJ version of the costume. Limited use of soft goods, good articulation, and the ability for the figure to hold the guard pose (with the Force pike properly held) are key! We have to believe that with the excellent Senate Guard released in the early 2011 AOTC wave, that a proper Royal Guard isn't far behind. Not many tooling updates will be required to achieve that one!

    Saelt-Marae (Yak Face)
Another of the POTF2 era figures that has made the list for re-make. Of the same wave as the EV-9D9 above, Yak Face was the LAST vintage release, and never made it to the US market as a general release, and generated big interest when he finally saw widespread release in the POTF2 line. The broken record player line on these guys stands - over-scale, under-detailed and under-articulated, a complete re-work is in order!

The first picture is of the proper Doallyn, the second is of the Decipher Doallyn "imposter" - the second, similar costume seen at the battle of Carkoon
    Sgt. Doallyn
Here’s a dose of controversy! Most picture sources show Sgt. Doallyn as a Skiff Guard that wears a black helmet and white jumpsuit – a character that we see die at the pit of Carkoon. However, the EU tells us that Doallyn is the character that Chewie shoves down the stairs as he’s brought into the palace by Boushh. That character wears a black jumpsuit and what appears to be a very similar (if not the same) helmet – unfortunately pictures of the “thrown down the stairs” character are harder to find. Ultimately we say DO BOTH! While they appear to be very similar, the original, correct Doallyn appears to be wearing the same suite as Bane Malar, just with a different helmet, while the Carkoon guard that wears the same helmet has a different uniform. Good articulation, a blaster, and a strange affection for Yarna figures is required. Doallyn was a 2009 Fan's Choice Poll Finalist.

    Shasa Tiel
Here’s one of those alien species that we first were introduced to during Return of the Jedi, we see an Ishi Tib skulking up behind Luke as he’s confronting Jabba. Fans asked mightily for an Ishi Tib figure and were awarded finally with a surprisingly unexpected figure in the 1998 “Ishi Tib” release. While a great figure for it’s day, it took a while to realize that the figure we had received wasn’t the figure from Jabba’s palace, but rather was an utterly background version of the same race seen on the balcony during the rebel briefing scene aboard Home One (hey now that pseudo military look to the costume makes sense). So this figure is the Ishi Tib that everyone always wanted – the main Ishi Tib that we see in Jabba’s palace. There is a second Ishi Tib, Harc Self, present in Jabba's palace, however, in the end, we want Shasa Tiel as she’s part of that wonderful group of aliens that we saw in one of the more prominent promotional pictures released prior to the film – Luke confronting Jabba – while we’ve received several more obscure palace denizens, this one remains, and would make a GREAT addition to the mix, and help to continue to finish out that iconic image!

    Sim Aloo – Imperial Dignitary
We’ve received new figures of two new Imperial Dignitaries – both from the 2003 Saga line, and excellent figures for what these guys are – ornately dressed advisers to Palpatine. However, there’s a gap in the group, and that gap is Sim Aloo – not a gap because we’re missing a dignitary (there is still Sate Pestage), but a gap in the vintage line, as Sim represents the vintage Imperial Dignitary figure. This figure should be done in a style very similar to the two 2003 dignitaries, in order that their styles blend in a display. 2009 Fan's Choice Finalist!

Sy Snootles - New Finalist for 2011
Here is a subject that has become hotly debated over the early part of 2011. As we tend to do each year, we survey the vintage gaps. While we have a modern release of Sy from the POTF2 era band pairs (released to introduce some of their SE band mates), the Sy we received was the Special Edition version, and not the vintage version. So now, many regard this subject as a vintage gap. Regardless of the vintage gap, the only figure we have for Sy is a POTF2 era figure, and by that rule that we keep bringing up, is in sore need of upgrade. It would be ultra cool to see a vintage and special edition version (special edition replacements are not without precedent - see the Monkey Eye Palpatine that has since been erased by the DVD version of that scene).

    Taym Dren-Garen
Another of Jabba’s Guards nominated – and while the name is obscure, Taym played a VERY important role in the saga giving Luke the injury that gave him pause as he was about to strike down his father in anger. Yes, Tayn Dren-Garen is the antler helmeted guard that shot Luke in the hand during the battle on the Sail Barge. An action oriented figure, articulation would be key. Should come with a blaster, and a removable helmet. This is a 2009 Fan's Choice finalist!

    Teebo & Ewok w/ E-11
Teebo is a figure that we received at the very end of the POTJ line in early 2002, a pretty good figure for that day, the Teebo figure lacks the detail and fidelity that we've seen in Ewok figures since the 2006 Chief Chirpa figure. Teebo is also over-scale based on the current batch of Ewoks being released. As one of the taller Ewoks, Teebo shared the same costume pattern as Logray - just with different body coloring, and a different head dress. So the new Logray figure could be utilized to make him. Teebo wears two headdresses - the POTJ figure has the style only seen during the battle at the bunker. Conversely the vintage figure has the style worn during the rest of the scenes at the village and in the hunting party - so in order to fully fill the vintage gap, we need Teebo with the alternate style of headdress! The second of our Ewok two pack here is a briefly seen Ewok celebrating as the battle for Endor turns to the favor of the Rebels - brandishing his E-11 blaster at the sky! This one could likely be made from one of the existing Ewok molds, with a change in paint application and head cowling, and, of course the E-11 (and a hand that can hold it). One of the many background Ewoks that stood out for fans!

Tessek - New Finalist for 2011
A POTJ figure is the only release that we've seen so far for Tessek. Not a bad figure, and one that actually stands the test of time from a detail and scale standpoint. Tessek is, however, under-articulated, and could stand an upgrade on that front. the 2008 Quarren Soldier release shows what a modern Quarren head sculpt looks like, and as a result demonstrates how cool a new Tessek could be!

    Vedain
So Hasbro finally broke the seal on Skiff Guards in 2009, as well as on modern Nikto toolings - but by doing so, they opened the possibilities for the three other Niktos that we see in the Carkoon sequence (all three of which are in the finals). This particular Nikto is the driver of the prisoner Skiff and the guard that battles with Lando before tumbling over the side with Lando (and into the Sarlaacs gullet). A completely different costume from the 2009 Nysad figure (released as "Nikto Gunner"), this would be a new tool, but should be setup very similarly to Nysad. He should come with his pistol and a holster. We've always believed that we should see a 3.75" figure before release in any other line, however, Vedain was actually first released in the Galactic Heros line - so Hasbro, we know he's on your radar, let's get a 3.75" version released!

    Vintage Nikto - Vink'to
Another Skiff Guard finalist, this figure is also a vintage gap, and may represent part of the problem with why Skiff guards haven’t fared well in fan polls or similar efforts. While every other denizen of the Star Wars universe has received a name, by and large the Skiff Guards have gone almost completely without names or EU backstories, so they have to be referred to by their race, their role or their spot in the film. In this case, this is the one Nikto that was released in the vintage line. This particular character was on the guard Skiff, and outside of one fleeting shot, we see very little of him during the film. Of course there’s a well traveled publicity/behind the scenes shot that was used for this character's carded release in 1984. Like his Skiff Guard brethren, the vintage Nikto is an action oriented character, and should received a high level of articulation. He should be armed with the movie accurate style of force pike. Despite his limited role/appearance, this is a figure that many fans will not let slip by if ONLY for the gap that he represents in the vintage line, arguably the biggest gap left in the vintage line. As we noted for Nein Nunb above, it sounds like this one is not on the radar. We need to make sure that Hasbro notes that there are FOUR Niktos in total in the film, and that while they named the 2009 figure Nikto Gunner, there are other gaps to cover, so don't let that name fool you. This figure is a vintage gap filler, and completely different from Nysad, so this is one that MUST be covered before the line ends!

Velken Tezeri / Nizuc Bek - New Finalist for 2011
Two of Jabba's human skiff guards were combined into one subject. Velken suffers the distinction of being the first Skiff Guard tossed into the Sarlaac by Luke Skywalker. Since Nizuk Bec wears the same costume and helmet, we decided to include him under the same release, as with the inclusion of a second head sculpt (hey we've heard that theme before), one release can cover two characters!

    Vizam
Unlike the vintage Nikto, or even Vedain, Vizam, is the one Nikto that we see to a great extent during the film. Vizam is actually aboard the Sail Barge using his anti-personnel cannon against the Skiff. Unfortunately the only release of this figure, thus far, was during the POTF2 line, and like all the others that we discussed is larger than the current scale, under-detailed and under-articulated. Underscored by comparison to the 2009 Nysad figure, a complete reset is needed, and, with the addition of a small piece of railing from the Sail Barge and the railing mounted cannon (as was released with Nysad), would make for a great release. Interestingly enough, this figure should be more aptly named "Nikto Gunner" as Nysad (which was released with Vizam's cannon) only used a pistol during the battle of Carkoon. Let's get all FOUR Niktos reset before we're done with the line!

    Weequay - Sail Barge
Here’s a Weequay that comes with a continuity violation! This is actually the third Weequay that we see – as Luke leaps from the second Skiff to the Sail barge in an attempt to knock out Vizam and his cannon, the Sail Barge Weequay pops out of the side hatch – armed with a blaster pistol – in a vain attempt to incapacitate Luke. Unfortunately for the Weequay, Luke quickly drags him out of the hatch and throws him over the side – presumably to meet his fate in the Sarlaac’s belly. A few scenes later we see Luke confront two guards on the deck of the Sail Barge, and what’s that? Didn’t we just see that Weequay get thrown over the side? Indeed that same Weequay is on the deck confronting Luke. Like all the others, this Weequay needs a high degree of articulation, a blaster and apparently a doppelganger.

    Widdle & Oochee - AT-ST Hijackers
Here is a duo that really belongs together! This pair teamed with Chewie to overpower the crew of an AT-ST, and then use it to help turn the tide of the battle on Endor. While this pair was released in the 2007 Endor UBP, the releases were in name only and bore no resemblance to the characters from the film. In fact, thus far none of the ewoks have been of the two-tone variety like Widdle. This pair would be ideal for a battlepack (perhaps with Chewie and an AT-ST driver), but would make a welcome basic release. Obviously both should be based on the current Ewoks tooling, or all new - and should NOT be repaints on older, over-scale ewoks. This one seems to be an on-again/off-again subject, hotly rumored to be part of an Ewok multi-pack in 2010, and then again rumored for this year, it sounds like that multi-pack has not found a home. Let's get some support behind this one fans! And to confuse things further, we've learned that there's another name floating around out there that may be one of the AT-ST Hijackers - Wunka. Ultimately we don't care what you call them, we just want the two Ewoks that worked with Chewie to overtake the AT-ST.

Yotts Orren - New Finalist for 2011
As mentioned above with the Gray Klaatu, this is the other Klaatu finalist, and another new Skiff Guard coming on the wishlist radar. While Yotts has seen release as a vintage figure, and then an update in the same POTF2 cinema scene as Barada and Vizam, the "Klaatu in Skiff Guard Outfit" is a POTF2 figure, and we all know what that means! UPGRADE REQUIRED!

Yoxgit - New Finalist for 2011
Here's a repaint that's been on the radar for years, and on the rumor list since we started it (hmmmm, that oughta tell us something). Yoxgit is a Ugnaught that is essentially a repaint of the 2009 "2nd" Ugnaught! Instead of a gray tunic, his tunic is red. While probably not the sort of subject that merits an all new release, it is a repaint that could easily flesh out any Jabba's palace release. It would be a new subject - for the price of a repaint. C'mon Hasbro - this one is easy!

    Y-Wing/Gray Squadron Pilot
Nope Hasbro, you still don't have this one done yet. While the gray pilot released in the Battle Over Endor pack was awfully close, that figure was a repaint on a B-Wing pilot, adding a Y-Wing pilot helmet. While it was a cool repaint, and even had all the details of the pilot labeled by Decipher as Lt. Telsij, it lacked the last mile of detail required to get this one off the list. That being the chest pack/gear. Photos (while tough to come by) of the gray squadron Y-Wing pilots show them wearing bulkier chest packs with a different hose arrangement. The flight suit details are the same, so the basis for this figure is THERE. Just tool up a slightly different set of chest gear (we know those parts from the original 2007 Tycho Celchu release are generic and adaptable) and this one is finally done! It's the last rebel pilot variant yet to be covered, so let's get this gap filled once and for all!!!!

    Voting is now open!

Whew! I'm glad to finally have this completed. Sorry for all the delays guys, it's been a heck of a first half of the year for me.

We'll look forward to the results here and getting the overall list together soon!

My votes should have changed that a bit. I favored Jabba's skiff guards heavily.

Glad to see this one up.

How and when are the results going to be given to Hasbro?

We'll be using a couple of avenues to get it to them this year.

Don't forget Derryl's comment from last year, I think they pay pretty close attention while it's underway here in the forum, so I'd bet they already know most of the results!
