I paid for the standard shipping. If anybody has had this happen to them, I'd like to know what eventually happened. Fedex delivered it to the USPS and then they delivered it to the wrong location. The USPS customer representative asked if it was insured but I told her that the shipper (HTS) doesn't offer that.

I would just like to know if I just lost $90 or if there's some hope in this situation. I'm pretty peeved with the idiots at the PO right now. I guess I learned my lesson and will never have anything shipped by the USPS for any of my HTS order from now on.
Sadly, you may be out of luck. I had over $100 worth of goods stolen a few weeks back when USPS left a package on my doorstep instead of putting it in the lockbox. I fought with several different higher-ups, but it all came down to whether or not the items were insured by the shipper. USPS claims no liability for anything if an item isn't insured.

However, your situation may be slightly different since they delivered it to the wrong address - which is their blatant error. They'll still probably claim no liability, but I'd try to fight it if I were you. Good luck!
I've noticed in the last year or so that UPS and FEDEX have made some new shipping deal with USPS. I just do not trust the post office whatsoever. Here's what I've been doing. When I find out that UPS or FEDEX has a package of mine going through the post office, I check the tracking number and the package's progress and then if I think the package has made the transition over to USPS, I call up my local post office and ask them if they have it yet. And I will repeatedly call them each day until they do. The reason I do this--I've lost a couple of packages in the past from the post office's stupidity and incompetence. One of those packages was worth several hundred dollars and caused a big stink in my household.

Yeah, the USPS is horrible. My mailman has lost several of my GF's unemployment claim forms and even a check. We've filed a few complaints just in the last year.

No, they didn't slip, they just replaced the toy that was unavailable with a comparable item. Obviously they've run out of VC 4-LOMs, since two TRUs I visited in the last 2 weeks seem to have ALL of them.

I knew I was in trouble right away when I saw that my Vintage Wave 1 order from Hasbro Toy Shop. The box was way too small for the number of figures inside (2 each of Luke, Leia, Han, Dak, AT-AT Commander and Dengar and 1 each of Vader, C-3PO, 4-LOM and Boba Fett). When I opened the box, the figures had basically been crammed into the box with a couple air pillows tossed in for good measure . Needless to say, every card was warped and in several cases, damaged, which is ridiculous considering the exorbitant shipping charge .
You, sir, are playing a dangerous game! Keeping this much raw viking-ness contained! There will be consequences!

Are you serious?! I've never bought from the HTS before, and now I definately won't!
The Star Wars line needs more EU figures!

Wow! I guess I should be thankful I actually got everything I ordered. But, no, I won't be ordering from HTS again. Ever. The ships were fine, but all the figures had bent & bowed cardbacks, as so many others have already testified. Had I just waited I'd have gotten everything I wanted at Target. With several of each fig to sift through, I could have chosen the ones with the best paint apps, card condition, etc. Lesson learned.

Okay, I got lucky. The USPS for some reason marked my order as delivered even though it was still in the mail room and not ready for pick up. The driver at my work picked up the package yesterday morning, a full 24-hours after they had said it was actually delivered. I'm so happy and thankful I got the package!! And the PO supervisor actually returned my call only hours later to explain the situation...very shocked that they responded so quickly.

Now, I am a loose collector so it doesn't bother me, but man were my cards bent to all hell! If I was a MOC collector I would be either really ticked or really disappointed. Do not buy from HTS if you are a MOC collector at all. I wonder how people's GIJoe Slaughter figures fared?

Was that something you wanted, or did you order the 4-LOM and HTS decided, well we're out of that figure, so here's this one and we'll still charge him?

That was one of the major reasons I never bought online in the past during my MOC phase, it was much better to be able to rifle through figures for the best card condition!
Now a days I'm a loose collector so I don't mind online ordering so much, but finding the best paint app is my new crux so I still prefer going to the store.

Personally though I've never had a problem with HTS besides the fact they're continually out of what I want!
